Tali on my first play through - I got all the way through to the upload and watched her suicide, and then after the mission finished I had enough paragon points to have passed the check for that paragon convo. option to save the fleet. I actually cried a bit there.

"Goodbye, Shepard. Thank you."

Hurt just to type that.

Mordin. I never had him as a major party member in ME2 but his redemption in ME3 was heartbreaking.

"Shepard, please. My project, my work, my cure. My responsibility. Would have liked to run tests on the seashells."

I knew he wasn't coming back from Tuchanka... :'(

Thane was the most emotionally legitimate for me. Mordin went out like a boss; dying in the process of curing the genophage was the best death conceivable; almost envied him really.

Mordin:
"Shepard, please. My project, my work, my cure. My responsibility. Would have liked to run tests on the seashells."
Shepard: "I'm sorry"
Mordin: "I'm not. Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong"

Epitom of epicness was that scene. And then him singing on top of shroud tower. That is the reason why players played Bioware games. Perfect scene, perfect death, cried in real life and finished the song. No other death get to me like that one.

Sad they had to ruin it with random new super kid in the end. Still, his death was without a doubt sadest moment of the series, brought to perfection if you ask me.

For me just about every death I have encountered has been as a sad moment, but if I had to rate them in an order (From the ones that I have actually witnessed in my playthroughs):

1. Mordin
2. Thane
3. Kelly Chambers
4. Legion

When I heard how Kelly died it made me extremely angy at Cerberus and especially TIM. When I got the chance, I didn't hesitate to shoot him in the head and pretty much said "that's for my crew".

each squad member lost was pretty hard for me as Bioware did awesome work of creating characters. BUT the most epic death in the game which was just BADASS moment which made me take a pause and take a moment was mordin.. Scientist salarian..

Anderson. I wasn't sad at Mordin's, I was too busy shaking my head and thinking "You brilliant bastard." It was an absolutely excellent way to end a character arc, I felt there was no need to be upset about it.

Anderson, on the other hand, felt truly tragic to me. He was basically my Shepard's father, watching him go after saying he's proud of her was sad as hell.

Yeah this one.  And when I heard the non-game extended version of their conversation, manly tears ensued....

The saddest death is my hopes for a great ending

but mordin and legion. I thought we were gonna lose grunt to the rachni. Thankfully grunt wanted something to eat.

Romanced Miranda.

how is that the saddest mass effect death ?

Because she dies while in a relationship with Shepard?

I didn't think that was difficult...

Tali, Thane, Ashley, Kaidan, Liara, Garrus, etc can all die with a relationship. I didn't think it was that difficult.

I actually found Dr.Archers death sad if you lie to him ,didn't do the Grissom academy, or completed Priority Rannoch
As ends up he regrets everything he did to David then learns all his suffering was for nothing

But the saddest had to be Legions if you gained peace
"I know Tali but thank you ; Keelah se'lai"

Mordin made me cry.
Thane made me think they were going to kill everyone.
Legion made me bawl.
I didn't lose anyone else.

Anderson. Can't help but love the guy, sad to see him go.

I actually felt happy over Mordin's death. It set him free. It's actually much sadder to see him walk away from the cure in a Wreav-only event. I'd sooner shoot him.

Mordin... I shot him in the back and walked away knowing that his life's work caused nothing but suffering for the Krogan. It still haunts me.

The ending sequence of the game just after your final decision when they show all the characters in a montage to the song "An ending once and for all..." is there a video that shows all the characters in that sequence? I keep getting the same characters shown in my endings despite my different choices.

I will say it again... Mordin's death... Because my Shep couldnt laugh,,, But only as renegade where it felt good, I would just have liked the option for my Shep to laugh a renegade laugh when shooting him and then maybe just maybe walk up to him and give him a headshot and then laugh again...Image IPB

I think there's a slight difference between renegade and psycho.

Why? What's so wrong with being a psycho? You should put on the party hat and try it.Image IPB

Hey, I'm pro psycho, but only when the need arises. Like Miaranda... waits for Miranda fans to bash me.
