It doesn't, sadly. The fire breath does negligible damage and leaves you completely upright and drains the stamina you badly need to dodge their attacks. Or, worse, they'll do their grab, which buys plenty of time for the ticker on their buddies to wax away. The grab's honestly the cheapest thing they can do- it's hard to pick out the start animation to dodge away from it, and it draws the match out, all in their favor. Breath's fun to use on mooks, but the kings will laugh and smash your brains in. Oh, and firebreathing pvp matches are awesome.InArts wrote...

And you're pretty much spot on for the strategy- that's about the only way to beat them after a certain point, just have to be a monstrous tank while having the most possible damage. But man... trying to beat them hours after hours with my dragon-dude. Little range, no weapons outside of bare hands, no armor. It worked on everything else, but they just had too much health. Closest was using power within to ramp my damage, but didn't have enough casts to get through the fight.Still a ton of fun though.
I haven't played extensively with the dragon stuff, I'd imagine the stamina-breath thing would do decent damage, though.

Without a doubt.
Other ones I have in my head are: Poison Head Crabs, Jinpachi, and Giant Depraved Ones.

Emerald Weapon god I hated that guy.
What I never understand is that so many people said Ruby was harder. 'the hell? I beat Ruby at lvl 48 by accident. I was testing out a theory for a strategy, I didn't intend to actually win.

If we're limiting ourselves to ME3 though, Assault troopers. Those guys are super cheap. They seem to be a dime a dozen the way Cerberus keeps pumping them out.

Im in cover with a banshee on the other side of the map. I kill a cannibal from cover>banshee ports from out of nowhere to instantly behind me. Litterally one second later I react and turn around to see what the hell is happening behind me. Banshee grab>dead
Human reaction time cannot compete with insta port behind cover from other side of map>grab
In the history of gaming, what enemy has been cheaper than this?
Banshees have been given many upgrades recently as apposed to when the game first came out:
-The range of their teleport has been increased signifcantly;
-They are now able to teleport while their Barrier is down;
-They are now able to do their grab-insta-kill on you while their Barrier is down;
-They now have an ability that makes them immune to powers. This includes Biotic Explosions.
-Their Warp attack can now travel through walls (though this might be a glitch).
-When their total health falls below 40% they become immune to all damage for a few seconds (again this could be a glitch)
Because of the way the game has been changed recently anybody who stands around when the Banshees start showing up is a fool. The Banshees are way more deadly and cheap now than ever before. The moment they start showing up you should be running and finding a spot far away and take them out from a distance.
