Well...to relate the politics, language, and nastyness back to Mass Effect...the Normandy can't be seen unless everyone starts singing the Russian National anthem. Which must be what they did every-time the reapers somehow found you in ME3 on the galaxy map. But yes, Leviathan DLC...probably won't changes the endings in any meaningful way. If they did that, Bioware would get a lot of fans back...oh wait...why aren't they doing that?

To the OP - and this may have been said - Odds are Bioware and EA are using the ending controversy to spur interest in the game. Assume that now the fanbase is divided 60/40 60% accept and like the ending and 40% still hate the ending. These comments that the DLC will "change" the ending - made by IGN btw - are an attempt to pull in a segment of that 40% who still want the ending changed. This will not change the ending - RGB are here to stay. At best you will get a nod to Leviathan with the Catalyst where - when discussing synthesis or the reaper origins - he may touch on leviathan.

I don't know, EA hate controversy, and they have already been doing horrible this year. As a result of the ending controversy ME3 is going to suffer in DLC sales, and I don't think that helps them out much.

Well, the only thread I ever created was locked after about ten posts because a) a mod looked into the future and knew for sure that there would be posts that violated the site rules at some point and Bioware didn't have answers for the controversial topic and decided to put an end all discussion until they had.

I never bothered to open another thread...
