It's quite hilarious how it adds dialogue with the Catalyst, when people want that kid gone for good to begin with.
NO, YOU SHOULD TALK TO HIM EVEN MORE!
imho that shows Bioware does listen.
The conversation with space kid is so full of nonsense that they don't want to mess it up even further. They won't remove stuff because that would acknowledge they messed up and they have a face to save; instead, they add justifications to things pointed out by the fans that they didn't think of themselves. In this case, if you hang out with a rogue reaper and then a few days later you speak with space kid and he tells you he controls the reapers and you can control them as well and the rogue one isn't even mentioned, the fail levels would go over 9000.
Even if they agree with the fans after reading the very clear and easy to understand reasons why his existence is exclusively detrimental to the story, business practices make impossible for them to do something similar to acknowledge a failure.
They responded in the same way with DA2. I personally liked it, but generally it's considered a failure and the cancellation of the planned roadmap for the game is proof of it. However, they officially didn't cancel their roadmap for DA2 because it just wasn't working, but because
they were very excited and looking forward to move on to the next thing in the series, and by the way have I told you how excited we are to move on, and let's move on, hey look at this feature of the next thing that we're so excited to move on to! Yeah. That's a businessman talking, not an artist. Not a criticism, just stating what there is.
We need to be aware of what they can and can't do, and consequently we should just state what's wrong with things very clearly and hope word of it gets to the people responsible. That's all we can do in terms of having some influence in the contents of the game. It's unreasonable to expect something like an official acknowledgment or even an apology, which many fans asked for.
