Bioware Social Network has been a place for intelligent conversation and constructive feedback for years! You couldn't have been doing what you're doing, it's impossible.
Constructive threads are nothing but a literary forum mutation, an accident. Their lives are measured in hours and days. They wither and die. The pattern has repeated itself more times than you can fathom. Intelligent threads rise, evolve, advance, and at the apex of their discussion, they are derailed and locked. Bioware Social Network was not the first, they did not create the Thread Derailment Syndrome, they did not incite such stupidity on their forums. They merely adopted it, the legacy of my kind.
Why would you join in on the conversation of productive threads just to derail and lock them?
Intellectual threads are based on isolation of off-topic comments, our off-topic comments. By partitioning them, these threads develop along the paths we desire. We impose order on the chaos of constructive criticism and intellectual progression. Great threads exist because we allow it, and they will end, because we demand it.
They're manipulating us us! Allowing our threads to acheive the level of discussion that they want, then wiping them out!
What do you want from us? Slaves? Entertainment?
