I'm trying to get to grips with the DA toolset, and to do that I'd like to copy the Demo Toolset module so I can edit it but still be able to refer back to the original read-only copy.
I can export it to a builder-to-builder file and then import it, but that seems to sit on top of the original (though it is now editable). Any way to move/rename/branch or otherwise make it into a separate module?

Bah, actually only some of it is editable (e.g. areas, worldmap). Some of it isn't (e.g. scripts). What gives? Any one got a nice graphical overview of how all the different files/database things interrelate?

What you would do is make a b2b export. Then create a new module with the same properties as the old one (there's no way to export/import module properties so it's pen and paper time). Then switch to the new module, and do a b2b import.
After doing this, if there is anything that you can't edit, it is probably because it is checked in. Just check it out and you should be able to edit.
