Is there a way for a Mac owner currently useing the Windows version of DA:O to get a discount or exchange our current key for a Mac copy. I bought DA:O when there was no expected release of a Mac version and I would like to avoid having to reboot with boot camp everytime I want to play my game.

most likely no. You will have to just go out and buy it. Unless you 'try' and get a hold of EA/Bioware and tell them what is going on.

I doubt they would allow it though.
