Decisions from DA:O / DA:A etc...carrying over into sequels question.

Because I finished Amgarak and Witch Hunt before completing Awakening (noticed that Awakening reverted my Warden to my Origins / Pre Witch Hunt level of development). If I launch off of the Awakening save game, will DA2 ignore my WItch Hunt and Amgarak decisions / outcomes?
Or does DA2 examine your entire portfolio of DA:O save games? Doubtful, as many players probably played multiple wardens w/ multiple origins and multiple outcomes. Therefore in starting DA2 the game probably forces you to pick one and one only. I could not examine all the origins and outcomes because I have kids that eat up all potential gaming time.
I will go back a replay my warden through WItch Hunt and Amgarak with my Awakenings completed warden if it makes a difference, but I was looking for some official Bioware guidance before reinvesting the hours (and they are precious).

At this time, there are no flags in DA2 that pick up events from GoA or WH. That said, that doesn't mean that any future games won't take those DLC into account, especially your WH save and what you did with Morrigan.JimmytheLizard wrote...

The correct order to play in is as follows: DAO, DAA, GoA, WH, DA2. You should import each succeeding save into the next DLC/game. Your DAO save imports into DAA, your DAA save imports into GoA, your GoA save imports into WH, and your WH save imports into DA2.
The DA2 import using the WH save will only pick up any plot flags that are shown from your attached DAO and DAA data, so if you are only concerned with how it will affect DA2 at the moment, you do not have to replay GoA and WH and can just go ahead and import your DAA save directly into DA2.
You can see a full list of results from decisions here and decide whether changing anything is worthwhile. To be honest, DAA isn't even necessary, aside from character background on Anders, and an appearance in DA2 Act 3 by a specific person (no spoiler forum), which only happens under certain DAA circumstances.
You don't know what, if any, plot flags will be counted in future game content.Emzamination wrote...
That would be correct but Amgarak doesn't matter anymore, they canceled future Da2 dlc.

Just some plot flags from origins,Awakening and witch hunt obviously, the ending of Da2 killed the whole amgarak story.

"Future game content" means exactly that. Games in the future. As in, post-DA2. The future from now. So it's still true... You don't know what, if any, plot flags will be counted in future game content.Emzamination wrote...

Just because DA2 did not use plot flags from GoA or WH doesn't mean that another game might not. That golem in DA2 who opened the store after you did an event had some interesting stuff to say. Who knows, perhaps if dwarves get more play in a future game we might see more of them. Many people (not me) are hoping that your choices in WH will be counted at some point, especially if there is a return of the OGB.
No one knows anything. It's wrong to assume that you do.
