I played through the entire game only chosing Paragon choices.  All 16 colonists are alive on Feros, but I got 8 Renegade points when going down under the ship to deal with the Thorian.  Is this unavoidable?  I can't think of anything I've done to get these points.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Weird. According to the Wiki's morality point guide there's no 8 renegade point reward there without killing 4 colonists. Or so it looks to me. If they're all alive I've got no idea where those points came from, and I don't think I've ever noticed getting them.

I would not worry too much about it. Those 8 points will not be enough for anything in the game. Not sure if it is unavoidable or not. I know everytime I go down to the Thorian it shows both Renegade and Paragon points, but maybe that 0 looked like an 8? Hard to say without seeing it, but I would still not worry about it. Those 8 points will not make any difference in your game.

Ok, thanks. I was just curious because I see that every time I play through that area. Perhaps it is a 0 and I couldn't tell. I have bad vision, so that's likely. Also don't have an HD TV if that makes a difference.
