I would have titled "Your favorite ending choice" but I know there will be a least one post saying "THE ENDING STILL **************'S *********************S"

Anyway, which choice you like the most? I like the destroy option the best because it is sweet victory for everyone, it leaves off a high note that everything can be repaired and back to normal, and it leaves the possibility that Shephard lives after the destruction. Control option leaves me feeling that people will still have bad blood and anger against the Reapers. Synthesis is an interesting solution, it might be the best in the long run, but something rubs me the wrong way about Shephards "essance" would be in EVERYONE!

Which choice do you like and why?

I choose Destroy because my Shepard believes it offers the best chance for all life to develop as they see fit.

The price is steep and it will weigh heavy on his mind until the day he dies.

But that's how his story ends.

I like destroy. Control is crazy because not even Shepard should be trusted with that power. Synthesis is dumb because there is strength in differences between organics and synthetics. Destroy gets rid of the Reapers and brings about lasting peace.

Oh, and there's a c in choice. You should fix that before the Grammar patrol sweeps through.

Destroy. Partially because it's right, partially because Shepard lives in it.

What I wish I could do: ****** in the Synthesis beam and giggle at the results.

What I actually do: Destroy.

Thanks, I thought it was a c but I guess spell check doesn't kick in this reply box.

It only seems to work in quick reply, at least for me.

My thoughts exactly. Even though you lose the Geth, even though Joker loses EDI (which sucks) organic beings have been, and will always be, top priority.

Plus, my Shep wants to survive and have many Quarian babies with Tali... :)

I like the destroy option no matter the cost. Nothing could sway me from that. If they really wanted synthesis they could have sent an emissary and asked, and negotiated, but instead they took. They violated. They destroyed. They turned our loved ones and our children into monsters. For that they need to die. All of them. No matter the cost.

She thinks of the children she is saving as she destroys them. I don't care about the reaper's purpose.

Destroy because I like to blow **** up. And because I've decided after much deliberation that it is the only moral choice in which I win. But it's still very satisfying to tell the catalyst "**** you and the horse you rode in on."

Synthesis. Because I didn't want to kill the Geth. Synthesis was in keeping with my and my Shepard's long term goal: to bridge the rift between organics and synthetics. Also, Synthesis provides for a fascinating future of limitless possibilities.

My number 2 would be control, since it is essentially the same thing as synthesis, only that it doesn't go the whole hog and free the reapers.

#3 would be destroy, there is a certain appeal to it but I cannot bring yself to kill EDI, all the Geth and unknown amount of other people, not to mention push the galactic tech level further back.

And I consider refusal to be BS, no offense. My Shepard was always willing to take tough decisions, not give a pretty speech and die, but that's just my opinion. I can perfectly understand why someone else would find it atractive.

Destroy. It completes what Shepard and practically everyone else set out to do from the beginning: destroy the Reapers.

I chose Synthesis because I felt that Shepard would have learned nothing from the start of his journey had he chosen the other 2, like if he'd chosen Destroy he clearly did not care about the plight of EDI and the Geth wanting to be seen as equals in society and wanting to understand how organics feel. And if he'd chosen control he would have clearly forgotten about Reaper Indoctrination and the fact that becoming a Reaper would eventually make him start thinking like one, thus we're back to square 1

Synthesis was really the only answer, though he sacrifices himself his legacy of what he strived to accomplished is carried on, it is the ultimate peace solution without resulting in murder or oppression.

What I also love about Synthesis is that it's a sequal writer's wet dream, this is uncharted territory for something that has a huge backstory can be recreated into something even more grander if done correctly. By that I mean this would be the best storyline to continue Mass Effect 4 on.

Destroy, because it's the only choice that isn't impossible, stupid, or broken.

I certainly cared about the "plight" of synthetics. That doesn't mean I'm going to violate every living thing in the galaxy for them.

Destroy.

I pick it every time because it is the only that actually acommplishes the mission and destroys the Reapers.
