Anyone else really pissed about ME3, but still holding out cautiously for DA3?

ME3 is a glorified shooter, not a real RPG. I am hoping that Bioware removes itself as far as possible from that game when making DA3. I am not a fan of sci-fi shooter nonsense and playing ME3 only briefly left a bad taste in my mouth.

As cautiously as a dragonfly in a toad infested flypaper forest.

Waaaay ahead of you. DA2 stopped me preordering ME3. Unless BW do a complete about-turn and get back on form I won't be buying another game of theirs. Non-EA employee user reviews are key, not tainted and bought critic reviews.
Have preordered Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition http://baldursgate.com/ - it's the 3rd time I've bought this game.

Eerily enough, I'm also really looking forward to Baldur's Gate Enhanced. Its looking dead on cue to be the spiritual successor of...erm...
As for DA2, disliked it. ME series? Enjoyed it, but felt it was pressing too hard down the 'shooter' route by the end, and the ending was terrible.
DA3? I'm keeping cautiously optimistic at this point...but my concern is that it'll fix the surface errors of what went wrong in DA2 without addressing the slightly more deep seated concerns a fair chunk of the DA:O fanbase had with the change in direction, style and feel.

Already bet everything on ME3 being Bioware's saving grace. I won't touch DA3 without first reading user reviews and scores. I won't be trusting anything from IGN or Gamespot.

You're just paying $20 for tutu and what player mods have been doing for years there.....

Being optimistic that the Black Pits and the new characters will be an above mod quality add-on. Hoping the resolution set-up and interface is a lot better than using tutu too.

I think there's every reason to expect DA3 to be the best game in the series. Just looking at the DLCs for DA2 shows what a night and day improvement they were over the main game itself, so long as they keep going in that direction, I definitely expect a masterpiece.
