problems with a new spell in spell_modal

hi there ;)

 hope anybody can help me with a problem...

im locking for a way to modify a running effect triggered by a change of value like:
GetCurrentHealth

i tried it i dont now how long but i can only change the values at start of the effect.....
another idea i have is to stop and restart the effect after a change of a value but there i find also no way to do..

ok for bether understanding i created a new spell in spell_modal
the spell itself runs but now the problem:
the spell takes your mana and refill your life but now i want that after the life is full the script should still running but no longer takes mana.. like a rest for the spell, and if during the "refill" the mana gets under 10 or something the effect should also rest.

i realy realy hope anybody have an idea
and yea i know my english is horrible i try my best

The modal spellscript only fires when the spell is cast and when it is deactivated, usually to only add an effect or remove the effect.

What you could try is have the activate part of the spellscript fire of another script that then fires on each of the characters Heartbeat events, or maybe even a plot-flag that causes said other script to do its checks. I personally haven't played around with heartbeat events yet, so I'm not sure if this will work how you want it to or not.

is there a way to stop the effect after the caster is out of mana?
that would be also ok

I would say you would probably put a check in your other script that either deactivates the spell when the caster is out of mana, or simply ignores its effects scripts when the caster is out of mana.
