I was hoping my ninja post would keep anyone from commenting. I has text there, but after about half an hour I had second thoughts and deleted my post.
I've never ever done anything like RP before, but I read around the forums and it looks interesting, I was just gong to ask what usually goes down there, since I noticed not much goes on in the actual forum I was wondering where it happened and wht did before I gave it more thought

We have all been there at some point, Phoenix. You have nothing to lose in giving RPing a shot and we'll gladly do our best to help you get started.
I'll give you the quick rundown. There is no main plot, and people are free to come up with their own plots -- merc jobs, for instance. The community have been at a weakened state during the holiday, but it is now picking up and quite a few events are in the pipeline. There are hub channels, which are locations that your character can walk into without a good reason other than going out for a drink.
The setting is current date, 2184, so there's no geth. I advise against elcor, hanar and volus, since they're fun ideas that aren't fun in practice. Vorcha aren't allowed in either hub.
I suggest you join the IRC lobby and ask further questions there.
