Try following the guidelines on the thread I linked to again. Failing that, try Mibbit again every few hours as it will work once this netsplit is over.

Edit: I may have figured out why you didn't get it to work; read the second post, not the first in that thread.

Edit2: Netsplit over, Mibbit should work now.

As said a few times before in this thread, Mibbit won't work during netsplits.
