If you brokering peace between the two races was an impossibility, who would you side with. Also, please indicate if you romanced Tali in either ME2 or ME3.

I did not romance Tali and I would save the Geth for a three main reasons.

Edit:

1.) The Quarians tried to kill me, and decided to go to war even after I told them not to. If they want to die, it is their own damn fault.

2.) 'The Geth only acted in self-defense. Do we deserve death?'

3.) The fact that the outcome of peace is solely dependant on the Quarians ceasing fire.

I'd save the Quarians.

Mm, dat ass (in reference to Shala'Raan). I romanced Tali in my 2nd playthrough, It was all good tell the picture was given... WTF I saw the same damn picture a few years before on the net!!!

It's really bizarre people put so much focus on the quarians firing on the dreadnought when the geth spent three games trying to kill you at this point.

And why is there is a choice purely for people that romance Tali? That's dumb.

The Quarians really suck at the whole war business.

Well, actually they were winning before the Reapers came in and helped the Geth.

I'm also wondering on that note, if the Reapers caused the Geth Rebellions as well? They started the Rachni War, and for what? When watching the recordings in the Consesus missions, it dosn't even look like the Geth cared about fighting back. Maybe the Geth that fought back were rallied by Sovereign?
After all, three hundred years ago is when Sovereign first woke up and discovered he couldn't signal the Citadel, the same time the Geth Rebellion began, and the Geth Heretics became Sovereign's army...

If the Reapers had started the Morning War, then the Geth would have pursued the Quarians.

And I say the Quarians suck at war because they make terrible decisions.

Starting a war with the Geth at worst possible time, outfitting civilian ships with weapons, making Tali an Admiral, etc

Making Tali an Admiral is one of the worst though. She is not willingly to voice her opinions. She says she wants to be a strong leader. But she just goes along with the majority to not divide the fleet which makes her the very opposite of a strong leader since leaders are expected to make their voice heard. Thus she leaves Koris as the only remaining Admiral who opposed War and then he too was forced to go along with the rest. Thus civilians were involved. When you voluntarily involve civilians in war, things will not go wel.

4/5 of the Quarian Leadership is stupid. Koris is the only relatively smart one but even eventually goes along with the War plan (even if he does so reluctuntly.)

That said, neither deserves to be wiped out. If I had to pick one, it wouldn't be based on who deserves to be saved more. I would choose the Geth because they have a stronger military.
