I finally finished assembling my new gaming PC. Sadly it came after I started playing DA:O on another PC.

How do I move my character, along with save game files to a new PC? Which files do I move?

I looked at My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\ and it's over 1.2GB in size. It seems all DLC are located there as well.

C:\\Documents and Settings\\User\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters

That folder contains all your character files... that should be all you need to physically transfer. You do, of course, need to fully install the game on the new PC and download the DLC there.

Correct. I was planning on installing the game, patching it, downloading DLC... and then only copying character and save game files.

I'll give it a try...

Saves are tied to the individual character and are stored in the directory I gave you :)

you can move the DLC & promo items mods & screenshots over as well they are scattered around folders in there but are not too hard to find if you dont feel like downloading the DLC again

actually if you move the DLC folders they don't work properly... in order to utilize the DLC you need to reinstall it through the game or the DAUpdater program.

Yes, definitely reinstall the content correctly.
