I started a game on my machine with a normal version of Dragon Age. I copied my saves to a friend's machine and played there, but he has the addon The Edge. I tried copying his version of The Edge to my AddIns folder, but I don't see The Edge on my DLC window. Trying to load a save that had this addin but now lacks this addin lets me Cancel or Force Load.
What's happening with The Edge?

you have to force load without it. The Edge was a special bonus item for those users who had accounts created prior to the 1st of December I believe (or was that Nov 1st)? Anyway, you don't qualify for it which is why it's not working and you can't install DLC just by copying it to your addins folder.
