The thing I ran into trying to use it was not really having much to choose from for weapon mods.

Don't need smart choke, basically don't need shredder, I don't recall having ammo issues, so basically it's knife and barrel.

Actually I might give it a go on my Paladin. Except the weight...

when I get home today, I'm going tomake it a crusader V day and use nothing but the crusader .
And like Eriseley, I would use it on my paladin too, but dat weight!

I can use the weapon just fine, it's just that I would rather use my Saber X, which does the exact same thing with less weight, a larger clip, more spare ammo, better mods, and more damage.

Eh, giving the Infiltrators even more charge weapons to allow them to fire more shots while cloaking seems unnecessary.  Rewarding the Crusader for headshot damage would be very fun to watch.  Something like the Kishock damage bonus, which I believe is 40%.

EDIT:  No disrespect for your suggestion though.  It isn't invalid or anything.  Just my preference and perspective.

And again it's my masochistic prefrence to use it.
I like it and can use it.
It can perform better than a Claymore in the right hands.

If we want it to be better. Make it ignore shield gate and Increase it's headshot damage some more. It could be lighter but works on Krogan and it seems to kill Geth allright.

Kishock headshot bonus is 300%

I don't get why people compare it to the Claymore. It's just retarded, imo... like comparing the Indra to the Widow, the Talon to the Phalanx, the Scorpion to the Predator, or the Saber to the Avenger.

The Crusader may be a shotgun, but functionally it's similar to the Saber and therefore should be compared to it much like the talon should be compared to shotguns, since it essentially functions as a shotgun.

If it was lighter, it'd be awesome. Even in singleplayer, it's too dodgy to use against bosses and just doesn't deliver.

Not really done with Crusader. Sorry. No Gold or even Silver medal for shotgun kills. 

There was a host migration so teh game started tallying score from the middle again I.E add the 2 bronze shotgun medals toghether and you get the right medal.
It's a glitch that happens with host migration and lag.
Still what did I use then?
10 Biotic kills.
75 kills additive.
20 headshots.
No melee kills.
Where'd that 50 shotgun kills come from hmm?
Seriously tell me what did I use to get that high a score, assists? There's about 30 something assists as medals there.

Those two weapons are so different, it makes no sense to compare the two of them.

The Crusader is not a traditional shotgun, and if you're looking to use a pellet shotgun, you wouldn't even consider a Crusader.

If you're looking to use an accurate pseudo sniper rifle to headshot enemies from across the map, you wouldn't even consider a Claymore.
