I guess now it's time to create simple and positive thread about ME Trilogy Ending. We don't really need a wall of text with different explanations and theories about the endings. There are many such threads exist already.

This thread has two main purposes. First of all, this is my way (and not only mine I suppose) to say thanks to BioWare. They really did amazing job, creating those non-standard, interesting, and instructive endings. Secondly (but not less importantly), I believe that it will be usefull to have centralized thread, where all people with different (or the same) ways of thinking could discuss everything they want about different endings without creating disturbance in some particular ending support threads.

You have some thoughts, theories or concerns about some particular ending or endings in general? Or maybe you have some ending fan-art you want to share? Or you just want to say thanks to BioWare? If so, this thread is definitely for you. And if you are looking for some particular ending support thread, then I can point you in the right direction:

Control Ending support thread.
Synthesis Ending support thread.
Destroy Ending support thread.
Refusal Ending support thread.

That pic is not a farce actually. It's my emotional attitude towards the Trilogy Ending's overall concept, and my way to say thanks to BioWare

Well, OK, but... it tends to highlight some of the most heavily criticized elements of the original endings in particular. Did you make it or did you find it somewhere? Because I'm pretty sure the original artist had no intention of praising anything.

But I support threads that aren't filled with unhealthy negativity and ignorance.

Well...

I've always been one of those who been hating the endings. And I can't say I really like them now either. Though, after the EC, I have to say like this:

The purpose, construction and making of the endings are really fine to me, I just don't think that those endings fit in to the Mass Effect story. It's to much space magic. Still, now that I've played my second play through, I can accept them.


Would prefer another ending of course.

I just don't think it's sending the right message; it's the easiest bait ever for the hordes of fans who loathe the endings. XD

This thread's purpose is to support the endings. The less haters in this thread - the better.

I suppose I'll open by saying that the epilogue speeches are handled quite well. Hackett's is regal and proud. Shepard's is compelling and retrospective. EDI's is my favorite, mainly just for those last few lines -- very emotional.

The endings were crap and Bioware should feel bad for this bad bit of work.
I actually had less choice than what I thought.

Still hoping that the whole thing is a Titan class "Cliffhanger".... "One more story"

Yes, EC epilogues are great. Both by concept and execution. And it was really great idea to make 4 different variants of Control ending

They also added Refusal, but I suppose it was more like a way to avoid endless waiting for players, who don't wanna choose anything, but still want to finish the game.

Well, I think it will be more correct to say that original game didn't have an epilogue at all. But at the same time I think it was quite interesting to guess what BioWare really meant by those endings. I like even original endings, and EC epilogues were really good explanations of what happened. EC proved most of my thoughts about the original endings. And I'm very happy about that
