No really, I'm looking for my uplifting ending. How do I get the pretty slide Taboo?

You have to romance Miranda, stay loyal, and keep her alive.

You have to then pick Destroy, preferably with 3100 EMS.

Question to everyone in this thread. Would you rather keep the endings as they are EC and all that or would you rather Bioware rewrite the entire ending from scratch?

I'd rather they re-wrote the entire series from scratch so they fit together better, at the moment they are all disjointed. But I like the endings as they are so no^_^

keep them of course....they are great...in my opinion...only i would introduce the concept of the catalyst after thessia...maybe even catch a copy of him and interogate it.

IMO, the endings are good but not great, not awesome. So I'm always game for improvements.

I'd rather keep the endings as is. Unless by re-writting you mean we get the exact same situation, only it takes place in the council chambers, and the catalyst doesn't appear as a child but looks more like vigil.

I'd rather have them rewrite the missions preceding the ending. Rewrite Priority: London, make it more suicide-mission like. Let us allocate out war assets. Escape Harbinger (somehow) and get to the citadel, fight through reaper-occupied citadel and get to the control panel. Activate it aand let the crucible dock. then Shepard gets hit and somehow detached from his team and the end sequence commences. xD

Replace starchild with someone else. Also, while we're at it, can we foreshadow control and more so synthesis better?

Yes, you do. The inention is to show that they're still ineresting and are waitng or looking for you. But only Miranda and Jack have these slides. The other LIs do not.

No of course they don't. That would make it unpleasent. But it also leaves room for the ability to head canon them being rebuild, not as they were before mind you, but rebuilt.

The geth were collateral damage. The reapers had the power all along to cease fighting but they didn't and it the end the reapers were that large of a threat.

Basically look at it this way you had a terrorist with his thumb about to hit the detanator to a nuclear explosive. He is holding a child hostage. You have absolutely no clear shots and are forced to shoot through the child to take out the terrorist, do you do so? I would, the child is in a no win scenario either way it is dead you have to accept the fact that the geth are dead no matter what you do. I have made my feeling know on synthesis and control simply replaces the head of the reapers and because absolute power corrupts absolutely the reaper cycle will simply begin again your only choice is destroy. But look on the bright side, the geth are synthetic there is probably a factory on Rannoch that simply needs to be switched back on for the geth to be reborn.
