I continaully get Mass effect 3 server is unavailable at this time.

Whenever I try to connect to EA servers I get this message. It
has been this way for a week now and I have seen fellow players playing on
their accounts. I contacted origin help and closed all programs except for
task manager, explorer and the repaired the game. I also cleared my
browser and java cache as instructed and at the time had my firewall and
antivirus software off. So there should be no connectivity issues there. I even
repaired the game and installed the latest version of Origin and still can
play. Is anyone else having this problem or have fixed it?

im getting the same and my origin chat wont conect when are they going to fix it it would be good if some one from bioware would give us some news when there going to have this fixed

Constantly unable to connect to the Mass Effect 3 server, 2 weeks now. I have no other connection issues with any other games/programs. I have the collectors edition of the game with from ashes and the alternate ending downloaded - current patch has been applied. Playing from Australia (well - currently not playing due to this issue).

I guess this is an EA issue but they seem to be ignoring it from what I am reading in this forum. I'm at the point of deleting ME1,2 and 3 and moving on to some other game (non EA that is).

Similar issue here.
Having been away from the game for the last two DLC, I thought I would give em' a try.

Played for only 2 days, random disconnects to server, sporadic connection losses - 3 times losing connection on extraction.

And before anyone plays the 'it's on your end' card, I also play League of Legends and have never experienced connection losses without prior warning.

Bioware and EA can say goodbye to my credit card forever.

Same issue here. Thought it was for maintaining the server at first but here we are 10 days later with the same problem.
I tried the same solution as LanDrakkar as well and was able to get on the server for about 30 min before being dropped again. Haven't been able to get on since.

I would have less of a problem if it didn't keep me from playing single player as well. I haven't seen the extended cut yet and was trying to get a look at some of the content.

Could you please try to change dns server on your PC to google dns or opendns ? I''m currently testing this for myself, and so far it has worked : http://social.biowar.../index/13465849

 My problem is, that i loose connection when there are free packages in the store, i have to connect again the free packages are gone. Until now i lost 10 free starterpacks, 5 victorypacks and 5 commendationpacks.Since this weekend after loosing connection, it takes me about an hour and several restarts to connect again, and every time i get the message : EA server is not available try again later.....realy frustrating.
i have reported this several times to EA Holland...they said that they will bring this up to EA America and that i will get email message from USA...until now nothing!!  HEEEELP:crying:

The issue just started happening to me too. My computer already uses Google DNS, no cigar.
The interesting thing is I sometimes (!) have luck connecting when I press the "Connect" button in the main menu. By that time all my DLCs failed authorization of course, so there it is not much good.

What more, I am unable to open "Shop for addons" window in Origin (I am using origin 9 beta). It too says the servers could not be reached. Could anyone try to confirm this?

The issue is gone for me - I successfully connected 3 times out of three just now. Probably just server maintenance. The Origin issue still persists though.

Still, it would be great if these things could be posted somewhere for all players to see. Like "European servers maintenance from X to Y GMT". That would prevent players going berserk and pummel the EA tech support, just to realize everything is back to normal the moment you start chatting with them (and look like a total idiot in the process).

Just like World of Warcraft: yes, it would be nice of Bioware to tell us when there are maintenances.

PS: I can't connect too, same problem, same message: servers not availaible at this time... but a friend of mine is playing as I am writing this message.

I'm having the same problem...
Its been annoying me for months now....

BTW, It(the Laptop screen) only pops up when you get connected to the server
