Hello guys,
Do any of you have tips about the tactics system? Like: what command is a must for each class, how to properly set it up for battles, etc... or any useful tip about battling ?
My life was being hell on Dragon Age even at Normal difficulty... only managed to set my main right, as the party tank.
Thank you for your patience and i sorry for any english mistakes I made.

What system are you using? On the PC it is easier to turn off the AI and issue commands directly. Many of the commands you would like (e.g.: ordering a rogue to flank your current target, run when your armor has been reduced, use a critical hit ability on a frozen or petrified target or cast a fireball if you will not hit any party members) don't exist. Tanks are really the only characters you can configure to run solo, other characters need constant direction.

I found the tactics to be very bad in my opinion as they do not work as i would like them.
I am trying to experiment to see what works but none of my team members are healing or doing anything correctly for me so will see what happens.
At the moment i have to keep an eye out for them every few seconds or they will die if left by them self’s.
I wish DA had the gambit system from FF12.

And now I would like to thank you for the link. Reading everyone post's helped me with the tactics system (less orders is better and don't be afraid to use pause). I'm also paying more atention on simple things like punishing one enemy with all my characters. Now is up to me come with my most suitable gameplay style.
