I had to download Origin after my Origins UE wouldn't install properly. I'm not required to play through it though so I can ignore it. Now if I was forced to use it, my only complaint would be that...it's menu's are a really bright white and orange. How about they not pop up while i'm playing the game?

EA's never been one for the always-online thing, so I don't see that happening.

However, I would not be surprised if DA ]|[ was Origin-only. I can understand why some view this a problem, but I honestly haven't had a lick of trouble with it. I've had far more trouble with Steam.

You guys are too young to be this cranky about technology.

I may be (somewhat) young, that doesn't mean I have to like it.:P

No biggie. No one is being forced to download Origin. After all, I wasn't forced to download and install origin with ME3 either.

I simply refused to buy it instead. The same will be true for DA3.

I get to keep my hard earned money, and Bioware gets to keep trying to attract non-rpg-fan gamers to replace players like me who are slowly giving up on them. It keeps the marketing people employed and happy I suppose. ;)

Of course, if they ever actually provide a data collection opt-out for the client, and fix the EULA and TOS to respect my right to privacy and enduring right to play what I have paid for, then I reserve the right to change my mind and buy the game. But not until then.

Its nice to now that there are some who are conscious. Thanks for that. I have the exact same sentiment.
