What earns you the bonus power because I'm not getting it for my last two games in ME1. I have always gotten it so it doesn't make sense to me. And I really want it now because I've been picking reave which helps majorly in battles.
Does anyone know how or why we get that bonus power in th beginning?

If I recall reave is an ME2 bonus power which would be why you're not getting it in ME1. If my memory has failed and I'm getting senior moments at far too young an age then maybe you've altered something in your profile? First thing I'd do is check to see if all the achievements are there as all bonus talents and powers are tied to an achievement. In ME1 it's mostly killing a certain number of enemies with a weapon to get that weapon training for classes that don't normally have it, and in ME2 it's the loyalty mission for whatever character comes with it or Lair of the Shadow Broker for the stasis power. Having said that I've noticed stasis has dropped off the list of my ME2 bonus powers lately even though I've done LotSB several times.
