One of the best CRPG experiences I've ever played. Especially in the fantasy genre. It has been a very long time since I've played a fantasy CRPG (maybe since the early 90's) and for my first game back, it was a great way to start. Thanks Bioware for this brilliant game.

Some stats:

Game time: 102 hours (would have been more if I didn't resort to help from this forum)
Percent completed: 50% (before the archdemon fight). How is this possible? I though I was very through. Is killing the archdemon the other 50%?
World explored: 96% (this makes more sense)
Most difficult part of the game: The Fade or Blood mage building in Denerim. Mainly because I went to Denerim at too low a level (right after Lothering)
Most difficult fights: Sloth Demon / Bandit Fights in Lothering / Gax-whatever (Unbound) / Flemeth

Stuff I didn't know early that made my life hard:
-If one of my party falls in battle, they are not dead if the rest of the party wins the fight. For the longest time I had no idea what an injury kit was for. I restored the game so much thinking all was lost when one of my guys went down!
-That you can reuse runes (stupid Diablo mentality)
-Giving Morrigan a heal spell is really useful if you don't plan on having Wynne
-I can take stuff from chests and other storage containers that are not mine without penalty (no real concept of stealing in that regard) and if I don't loot, I actually miss out on items I am supposed to get.

Best LOL moment.: Sandal's reply when running into a bloodied up Sandal in Fort Drakon and asking him what happened. Numerous Oghren dialogues are close runner ups.

I finally get my life back for a change (until I start another play through!). Whew!

I've done 5 playthroughs now, though I'm unemployed at the moment so I've got time for that, plus time to mess with soundbites for my cell phone. (see sig if you want to relive some good moments in game!)

It's a lot of fun to do some of the same things over again, and to try new things just to get the new party comments.

Congrats!!

I found out that random party member dialogues are triggered when you're walking through certain spots. One of these is the bridge to the Proving in Orzammar so I spent a couple of hours there just swapping members in and out, zoning out the door then back in to initiate all the possible dialogues.

Yeah, I need a life too. hahaha.

EDIT: OOps forgot to say GRATS!!!

The percent completed is linked to how many achievements you have unlocked, that's all. Nothing to do with the actual game. It is a great game though I agree, one of the most sad and bittersweet endings I've ever seen in a game if you sacrifice yourself, shame the ending sequence prior to the epilogue was so bad. Sandal's appearance in Drakon was more of a WTF moment then a LOL moment for me.

Getting ready for a second playthough though, have to be more thorough this time as I missed the "easily side tracked" achievement meaning I missed a ton of side quests somewhere. Not sure where as I had a ton completed in my journal.

Same with me, I thought I was pretty good with getting all the side-quests, but apparently I missed out on alot of them.

It pays to wander around and "reveal" every part of every map.
I found 2 additional quests in "The Wilds" at the beginning of the game that you never find if you go in, do what you were told to, and leave!

I was very thorough, or at least I thought. Read all the codex's and talked to everyone I saw, had 97% of the map explored. Maybe I'll do it with quest markers on this time, see if I missed someone somewhere.

There are other subtle in game references and scenario's that depending on HOW you respond to them, gets you a very different response from the NPCs, for example, a play through with my Human Noble and I choose to role play him to never forget that he is a Cousland and to make sure that everyone knows that a Cousland still lives, I had Ser Cautherien almost respectfully, asked instead of using the "do not interrupt your betters" line when we first confront Loghain. Not to mention how Dwarven Noble / Commoner storyline played out as well as different ways your companion / NPCs refer to you depending on if you played as a male or female.

I think I am going through the game the 8th or 9th time now and I can still see myself playing other "themed" groups such as "all mages" (PC mage, + Morrigan + Wynne + dog (or maybe sten to get his chat going). The only way I won't be playing the game is "chaotic murderously stupid" though.

There are several major sidequest hubs:
Chantry Board
Blackstone Irregulars
Mages' Collective
Gnawed Noble Tavern
Trial of Crows
Crime Wave

All of those hubs will get additional quests both from completing earlier quests and from key events in the game (like completing additional treaties or opening up the Landsmeet).

On top of these are what I call the scavenger hunt quests.  There are at least a dozen quests that are started by collecting several pages of a journal or tattered notes or rare books.  For example, in the Circle Tower you start Five Pages, Four Mages by collecting said five pages, or Summoning Sciences by collecting a book (the the creature you summon starts another Chantry Board quest).  Every major section of the game has at least three or four quests started by gathering notes/codex.

Finally, make sure you get every companions' sidequests.   The only characters that don't have one are Zevran and the dog.

I had the 75% achievement before the Landsmeet was called, but I practically held down the tab button while running through everywhere so that I could spot every silly book or scrap of paper.
