I think we should all take a moment to pray for the SNES that met its unfortunate end :(

At least your family are all ok though!

Hey man sorry to hear about this. As the others said no one was hurt, so we can all take comfort on that. You know, life is like that store very much, isn't it? It trolls you from time to time but then again, as in this case, there's no drastic consequences.

Hopefully your insurance will be able to cover things financially. I guess the SNES's the saddest casualty.

I really hope I'll be able to see you online again soon. If you ever come back to this game let us know! A gold match with trustworthy teammates in this game is always fun.

The saddest casualty was the G1 Devastator that perched above my entertainment stack. That, or my Masterpiece Optimus...

Seriously, thanks to everyone for the kind words and encouragement. My thoughts weren't to receive sympathy, just to say thanks and goodbye...for now. This game lit a fire in me, and I'm sure I'll see some of you on other digital battlefields, maybe as allies, perhaps foes.

Upthread, someone jokingly suggested Bioware do something for me. If you're reading, BW, don't. Please, find a child in foster care, or an injured veteran, somebody WAY more deserving than me. I'm healthy, alive, and I've got my family. My insurance will recoup my material losses; however, I'm sure there's a sick kid in your city who'd love a Bioware care package, and right now they don't have much, if anything.

Thanks all.

Man, I'm sorry.

At least you have your health and family.

Stay up, things will eventually be set right.

Well, first off, good to hear no one was hurt. Second, I'm sorry to hear about your losses.

And third, it was good to have you and I hope you'll be able to get back the things you've lost.

Oh, and good luck!

Sorry to hear that, but glad to know nobody was hurt. I wish you the best of luck with how you plan on moving forward. And don't worry N7, there are still some of us continuing to fight in this war until it is won. You are already a hero for getting your family to safety. :)

Take heart in the fact that nobody got hurt. That's the real deal!

Here's hoping your material losses can be recouped somehow. A shame about that SNES, though...

It must be devilish to get trapped in a fire without escape. I'd rather hear a story come to a good end (everybody escapes) than otherwise. Glad you got out unscathed, things can be replaced - people not.

I'm really sorry for your loss. I know I would hate losing one of those 1990's game systems, (N64 here) But hey, this can all be replaced in the future, but you're family is safe and that's all that matters. At least you still have them.

I see what you did there. In that case, I'm definitely aiming for full extraction.

If only it happened a few days later...your console could've fought the flames off with the Firefight pack DLC.

Ahh...dumb, yeah, sorry. That sucks man.
