Is there an equivalent of the Mass Effect 1 "Light Armor" in Mass Effect 2?
I hate the "Medium/Heavy" look of the default armor in ME2.

There is no light/heavy/medium armor. I have seen people mod in armors.
Personally I like the default medium/heavy armor look in ME2. I hated light armor in ME1; always reminded me of footy pajamas.

Never got the "footy pajamas" feel myself...obviously.
I liked the feel of being badass with minimal armor.
Right away in ME2, you team with Miranda and Jacob.
Now Miranda, of course, is genetically badass...and I like that about her...but Jacob is just another dude. He wears basically no armor at all in situations where you have to wear heavy looking armor to survive.
Obviously this is all a moot point now...as you stated there is no "light" armor in ME2...but that's the reason I prefer the light armor overall.
