I prefer the pretty in pink mod. Not that I'm a prude, but it seems a little silly not to have any underwear on my warriors. I guess it would give a whole new meaning to going commando.
Spartans fought fully nude therefore no Fruit of the Looms in ancient times.

I choose bodies that look natural, not exaggerated. My starting point is my lovely wife (hey - you never know, she might read this! :innocent: ).
I find the underwear to be totally immersion-breaking in the sex scenes and I don't really see any need for it elsewhere.
However, at least people are given a choice, thanks to both mods.

Er... the Spartans wore armor, just like the hoplites of Greece. Maybe you're confused with the Olympics or similar competitions?
Many greek warriors were nude below the waist except for shin protection, but they did wear upper-body armour.
The Gauls at the time of the ancient Roman Empire fought totally nude.
Ancient Egyptian soldiers wore only a lightweight kilt.
It was recognised from earliest times that a weapon or arrow thrust that pushed a piece of clothing material into a wound was likely to cause a fatal infection and you were more likely to survive a bare-flesh wound. Also, too much armour limited speed of movement, so when it was worn it was often limited to where it provided the best protection. Some nations in ancient times did wear overall armour but it was only in later times that full body protection became more universal.

if it wasn't for that..I'd rather use one of the great underwear mods out there...just wish there was some way to interchange them so the sex scenes they appeared nude while otherwise they have the underwear on.

In a period when the types of armor we see in the game were actually worn (I'm not saying the armor is historically accurate), folks would have worn clothing under their armor. Those wearing heavy or massive armor would have had specially padded clothing to help absorb the force of a blow as well as prevent chafing. Lighter armors were worn over regular clothing. DA:O just doesn't support the layering options you need to show this ingame. *sigh* I miss clothes and clothing mods such as I saw with The Elder Scrolls III and IV.

Any bra, really.Zenon wrote...
To me a pink bra in a medieval setting would be more like an easter-egg.

Threads like this usually are the death knell of fantasy RPGs...
I agree completely, but am still fascinated as I have not had any interest in RPGs until recently after many years of focusing on FPS games. Now I am back, and not because I get to experience love scenes with or without panties, although that helps. It is not what drew me too the game in the first place.
I felt very unsure about posting this subject, and I actually thought for the first day this would not be allowed, as every time I tried to look it up I kept getting an "invalid topic" message. I'm glad the administrators allowed it. I am also glad I posted this as it is probably my most responded subject. Whether that is good or bad, I take it for what it is - a thread of interest.
Plus, for someone who is not interested in this subject...made you look!!!
