crashes happen on all maps, its seems to happen whenever a player falls through the map

360 and it freezes almost every time I play on it. It's to the point when if I load in and it's on that map I just quit. I tried deleting and reinstalling the Earth DLC and it still happens.

I was gonna make a thread about the same thing. 1 out of 10 matches on rio will be trouble free for me. I've lost so many consumables there. Last night was terrible rio came up 3 times. 2 crashes then on the 3rd we all just quit and formed a new lobby.
Worst part is most of the time I cannot rejoin the game."session no longer available" error. Through Origin chat I confirmed the game was still going.
Last unglitched game the 3 non host players got stuck on loading screen after extraction. The host had to quit the lobby to "fix" the load screen. I ended up in a lobby by myself. I never saw the score/payment screen.
If this map comes up in random rotation and I'm using consumables, I have to play. No consumables, I quit right away.
I say fix it or remove it until it is fixed.

PC player. The map does have issues. I've hosted several lobbies where people are getting disconnected from the map, and dropped. They re-enter, and after a wave, or two, get dropped again. Don't know what they were doing, or where, exactly, on the map they were when the d/c happened, so I'm not sure what help I can be in troubleshooting it.

I totally agree with OP. Haven't had a single match on that map without at least TWO people freezing at the same time. It makes U/U unplayable.
I can't understand how they didn't stumble across that problem during their so called "testing"...

360, have played the map countless times and have only froze up twice great map really easy to control the spawns as long as you hold the catwalks towards the spawns. love to play my demolisher and rain grenades its actually the first map (besides white) that me and my friends beat platinum on.

Above illustrates problem.
social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/344/index/13188969 is a related thread in the PC section with Bioware response. Though most posting in this thread have not experienced it, this issue is real and confirmed on PC and Xbox.
Removing Rio from map rotation will not 100% prevent the issue as it has been found to occur less frequnetly on other maps as well. Hopefully it will be resolved with next patch. Best course is to avoid Rio if you are one that experiences problems with it. It's frustrating to lose consumables, but it's not the end of the world.

I'm pretty sure this is a troll thread based off of the "Bioware, Remove FBW and Glacier" thread.

ps3 here, like rio, have played it with a full squad of vanguards, and no issues ..
may be a glitched pack install or bad connect to host/other players?
