I would just like to point out how little sense this makes anyway since the gun couldn't physically not cool itself over time when not firing especially in some places. (IE Palaven's moon? Your like on the surface of a moon? The turians dont wear suits but it should be crazy cold? Also FBW is on Noveria which is like blizzarding 90% of the time.) How could the guns not cool in these conditions lol not like you need a cooling unit made into the gun.

They should just give Demolisher a skill like incinerate that targets allies, except instead of flaming projectiles it fires off homing ammo clips/grenades.

More Nonsense, Every enemy has rocket boots, no one in the alliance has them, or can even jump for that matter

This actually depresses me a lot because in ME1 and ME2 it seemed like enemies used basically every tech and biotic ability you did but in ME3 I don't think any of the mobs do anything anymore?

Thank God for that. Remember the enemy throw users in ME1? I'd rather solo Geth on platinum with nothing but melee.

Well even with platinum a lot of people complain the game is STILL to easy (yet they also want nothing nerfed and only buffs to make the game easier for some reason) and I personally think the fact that mobs don't use tech or biotic abilities is 90% of the reason the game is as easy as it was. I didnt finish ME3 on the hardest difficulty yet for various reasons but having beaten a decent portion of the game I really have to say. ME1 was much, much harder. I really felt like I could die going around any corner in ME1 but in this game its kinda meh spam BE's easymode kill everything in sight.

Here is something that doesn't make sense.

Cerberus Nemesis troops use the Raptor. Their raptor basically strips shields in 1 hit and kills you on the 2nd hit. (At least it seems to when I get hit and I'm assuming its 2 hits due to shield gate.) Yet the exact same raptor we get is a semi-automatic rifle that can barely 1 shot a trooper.

And you can't even tickle the enemies with a Phaeston, yet Marauders can tear you apart with that thing.

Same with the GPR.

Don't forget one of the most nonsensical things in the game. Krogans and Batarians getting stunlocked in place while smaller species can still move, despite the fact that krogans and batarians are much larger and stronger.

Krogans and Batarians, the biggest, slowest moving races, are the most vulnerable to being staggered. Still one of my true pet peeves with this game.

Common sense: Why doesn't Cerberus dispose of all those blasted unlimited ammo boxes found on each map?

how come we have so many phoenix adept and vanguard defectors while we've never seen any cerberus adepts and vanguards in the first place?

Becuase you didn't play the iOS game.  The Pheonix Cerberus characters are defects from a single Cerberus project, that was shut down in the game, ergo, no more Pheonix for cerberus.  The Harrier also comes from that game.

why can't i just pick up the goddamn drone and carry it myself, instead of slowly following it around? and what's the point of carrying it to the farthest place on the map anyway? woudln't it make more sense to bring it to the extraction zone?

If a brute can grab you and slam you on the ground killing you instantly (meaning the shield your character has doesn't really negate the kinetic impact of the slam) then shouldn't his normal claw melee which should be as strong (or stronger since he kinda moves back and charges forward) also kill you in one hit?

Well yes but cerberus guys in game always used the mattock and the harrier is just a modified mattock. Which without any other backstory already makes sense. Every army in the world works to improve their main battle rifle.

Your omni tool can chill multiple human-sized objects every 2 seconds (cryo blast, snap freeze), but cannot cool your own weapon.

Im posting a lot here lol. Technically as soon as we landed we could run around grab all the sets of pizza stuff, find the drones, and hack all the pcs then immediately extract on wave one. Then they could do some arial bombardment since we already found the important intel!

I agree about SP that ME1 did feel much more difficult than ME3. As for MP, I don't think it's anywhere near too easy and I'd be willing to bet that the people that do are a very small minority. And the minority should not be catered to.

If Batarians are the 2nd fastest sprinters behind the Drell, why are they so slow at walking and strafing?

How does the Destroyer increase the magazine size of the guns he uses just by making his eyes bloodshot... or are they rose colored spectacles?

Why do we have to listen to the drone during an escort mission and not the other way around?

Only humans are capable of rolling

The other advanced spacefaring races have not yet mastered this particular acrobatic feat

The Chief's syntax ie.- 'important intel buried in network down there'. That's such a horrible sentence it grates on me every time I hear it.

Also if the Chief has sensors that can tell you where the last enemy is, why can't he tell you where all the enemy are. I'm beginning to question his commitment to the cause.

How could the guns not cool in these conditions lol not like you need a cooling unit made into the gun.

It probably would eventually disperse due to thermal radiation (a form of heat transfer). But it probably wouldn't transfer away built-up heat before the temperature destroys the mechanisms inside the gun. Or warps materials to the degree that the gun becaomes useless.

And this is also dependent upon the temperature of the environment being cooler than the temperature of the gun.

So...yes, it would eventually cool down on its own. But it might not cool down fast enough for the gun to continue to be practically used in a combat situation. In other words, while you wait for your gun to cool down on its own, the only use you may get from the weapon is as a club.

The Thermal Clip is just a disposable heat sink, performing heat transfer through conduction. Given the size of a Thermal Clip in Mass Effect, I don't think it could possibly function the same way real life heat sinks do; increased surface area is a major part of heat sink design. You've got these pins or fins built into a heat sink that each constitute an increase in surface area across which temperature is dispersed. But the closer together these pins or fins are arrayed, the less effected the heat transfer will be, because air cannot flow as easily around the pins/fins.

So, it seems like ME Thermal Clips function entirely due to material heat resistance, which is the innate ability of a given substance to conduct heat. In the real world, we use stuff like aluminum and copper and diamond. But in the space magic, sci-fi world of ME, they might have advanced meta-materials that can transfer conduct heat far more efficiently than any material we can produce today.

Of course...why not build the whole f*ckin' gun out of such materials? Might be too expensive to do so or whatever. My point is, this sh*t only works if you assume the super-future-magic material of the Thermal Mag does a better job of heat transfer than a conventional heat sink would do. And that's less a function of reason or common sense than it is a function of Suspension of Disbelief, which is the same thing that allows you to accept Dragons and Balrogs in Lord of the Rings, and the Force in Star Wars.

Analyze it too much, and you tend to cast too much attention on the facets that never will start making sense, because it's all fiction.

In single player Grunt takes out a wave of like 8 ravagers solo, you actually see multiple krogans pick Ravagers up off the ground and throw them like a damn football, yet a "shotgun" is so heavy it slows their power useage down??? lol
Makes u wonder how much a ravager does weigh i suppose  heh
