toolset 1.01 still breaks main campaign

Hi all,

Wondering if others are having this problem.

I deliberately waited until the new toolset was released to avoid breaking my saved games. So you can imagine I'm a tiny bit miffed after working with 1.01 and then finding that my saved games don't quite work. 

I can no longer talk to Zevran or Shale. I can talk to Morrigan, but the scene goes completely black except for subtitles. If I try to start a new game, DA:O crashes right after the first pinwheel loading screen. 

The main game is patched to version 1.02. This happened after I did a full export of the custom module I'm working on, using the new 1.01 toolset. 

Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a work around? I searched the forums but came up with nothing. 

I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks much.

I haven't played much since I started furiously building, but I'm sure the old fix from before the patch still works. The corruption was never permanent unless you saved your game in the corrupted state.

I haven't heard of this problem before - but the full export isn't really necessary.



You can just select all your module's objects in the palette and export without dependent resources.



I've noticed that the full export includes additional resources that you don't need to override.

You can still break it if you change core resources and then export them into a core override directory. But that is working as intended.
