This just in: There are people in this game who think N7 rank is a true indicator of player skill.

I agree, people with hilariously high N7 ratings kick people with low N7 ratings.  It's stupid, but it happens.  get over it and stop clogging the forum.

I play daily with a dude over 11k...he doesn't care what other N7 ranks he games with. Hell I am not even at 1000

I can see maybe aiming for N7 9000 just for the shizz'n giggles, but... that's a lot of time spent promoting.

My rank is 600 and I have all URs maxed out.

It's hilarious when people go "how does this guy have a level X Harrier and he's only 600? He must have spent real money"  on voice chat. It's like the concept of not promoting your characters is completely foreign to them.

I play all the time with the world leader on PS3, he is a very cool guy and probably the best player I have ever played with. We always play Gold and now Plat, and he never plays a level 20. It's that simple. Some people just enjoy promoting, it's like prestige on CoD. No biggie, he enjoys promoting, we don't. Thats why it's there, another option in a game to have fun with.

There's no reason to bash people for playing a different way that you.

As for whoever it was that swore at you, we don't know the whole story or who it was or why, so I wont comment on that.

Wow, that sounds like me, except I haven't been fired yet (give it about 2 - 3 weeks) and my N7 rating is far too low.

N7 211 or something, cause I have promoted like 3 times.
It's funny to hear people talk like I must be really good or somthing
for playing gold competently and if I hadn't broken every headset I
have out of frustration I could just tell them...or not.
Greatness isn't always easy to spot, and sometimes it doesn't want to be noticed.

My N7 is almost 2000, and I play probably about 8 hours a week. Over 10k is cray cray
