Well, I'll admit to being surprised by seeing someone with N7 120:ish and carrying maxed out UR:s. But I guess some people just hate promoting with a passion. Which is fine.

Staying at 120 pretty much means you missed out on afaik at least two N7 promotional weapons. All this just to make some kind of statement? I don't get it. But to each his own.

You missed my point. If you do not understand what i tried to said then there is nothing to say anymore but i will gladly hear why high N7 number is measure for a good player?? As i said N7 number does not affect multiplayer in any way except leaderboards.

dont you see that this is an unwinnable argument for either side???

the non-promoters and the promoters will never agree.
we might as well debate abortion and immigration.

I do not hate people with high N7 number nor i have something against them. I simply say that N7 number is not a measure for how good someone is in MP.

No one claimed this to be true in the first place. Just as much as it isn't true that anyone with an N7 of 120 is a platinum solo player...

No it's not a good measure, but it DOES tell you if someone has played a lot, and that in turn should in most cases give you an idea of what to expect.

Like I said, the world leader on PS3 is a friend I playe/d with all the time. He is by far the best player I have ever seen.

If someone can play solo platinum than i salute him.

That still means nothing. He can still be a bad player. As i said i play MP constantly since beta so i have x hours of play but if i do not promote you will say "hey his 120 he is a bad player let's kick him", think again.

There is very little one can find in this particular game that amounts to someone being able to say "Hey, that guy is skilled" let alone score or N7. Think about it. Speed runs, soloing. Mostly dependent on the success of controlling spawn points. Which, is basically exploiting the weakness of the AI, and not so much you are gifted. Sure, there may be a handful of people that are exceptionally good at playing. I'm not saying there isn't. I'm just saying the number is tiny, so to look at ones N7, or even load outs (people can still have awesome load outs and still be a non skilled player. This is AI fighting after all, not to mention farming that could have paid for all that gear).

So, to arbitrarily kick someone, simply means that they aren't good enough for YOU.

You people are very funny.

BSN complains about high n7 players having no life; 19 out 20 of the first people to answer this thread are the elite low n7 people (apparently) wouldn't that mean that the ones with no life are you? Because somehow you all are always the first to come to the silly (I got kicked because my n7 is low and the other side smells) threads.

Aren't you all the elitist ones?

---------

First point: most high n7 people are shared accounts so odds say they have more of a social life than most of the haters in this thread, and most the ones that aren't shared are owned by very cool people.

Second point: stardust no offense, I know you are a great player and you can solo gold, but it is more than likely that they didn't need you, and probably had full extraction, your addition to the team wasn't needed and they didn't want to risk it, and as thus you got kicked.

Third point: say what you will about n7, but a few months ago when bioware made the n7 match making, I was paired with people with similar n7 and I didn't had to carry a team and never got anything less than partial extraction, and no maxed level **** decided to drop dead after the payout, everyone did their best to reach extraction out of principle and exp. (without the insults when I refused to die, because exp is useless to them).

Forth point: stop having an ego orgy, low n7 isn't a skill indicator, but sure as hell tells you a lot about the person... What exactly?

N7 of 120 with level 10 ultra rares: likely one of those players that drop dead after the payout, with a 50% chance of being a hoarder aka person that won't medigel/rocket or use equipment (because their level 20 toon is strong enough 'true' and he plans to drop after the payout anyways).

N7 of 1200 with level 10 rares with a level 12 character and level 3 and 4 equipment installed: won't give up the match no matter what and won't think twice about using a cobra when **** hits the fan.

Note: that is the most common results, but there are exceptions to the rule.

(I began to write this post 8 hours ago, so I hope this thread has not been locked or I will be pissed)

He probably has 6 sex friends and he lets them play multiplayer on his account while he ****s them (there is at least 1 high n7 player that does this and there is audio proof).

Another funny fact: a lot of the people with low n7 keep it low to pretend to be leet and awesome.

The logic is that a low ranking player that carries the match is much more impressive than a high n7 player doing the same.

stardusk with maxed ultra rares and with 120n7 rank is the same type of "strange" player as this 11kn7 guy.
I would kick stardusk also. Why? Because I can.

Noob question, but how does one actually see who kicks you in the lobby. I have a rather high N7 score but that is only because I like to experiment with classes and rather promote then use respec cards which by the way would prefer to buy them in 10s :-P

On PC.

This two and more. N7 doesn't mean skill/no skill, but you can pretty much asume from it.
Even predict loadouts - very rarely you will see N7120 with maxed URs (maybe better said: slightly above120).
Many times it will be Viper II with no consumables - thats what causes most of the kicks.
