I was impressed with the game... Took me about approx 34 hours, more or less. I played as a Dalish elf warrior. I liked story line and everything. I even got attached to Morrigan and Alistair (lol, lame I know). When I beat the game, it made me sad because everyone left and moved on; Morrigan left and had that spawn of satan, or whatever it was.

One thing I was dissappointed is that there were no side quests to do after I beat the game. I thought I could go and visit everyone that was in my party and do side quests with them, but instead, I just get stuck back in camp where I cant do anything but play DLC, I thought I could continue my journey like in Oblivion/Fable. One thing I would have liked to have seen after the game was beaten was a quest to find Morrigan and the baby; I think that would have been pretty cool.

Im on my second playthrough right now as a noble dwarf. :)

Cheers

They are planning two years of DLC and they already confirmed that at least some of it will take place after the game's ending.....so dealing with Morrigan and whoever you put on the throne seem like likely possibilities.

So what was your completion?

34 hours sounds like you ignored all the codex entries and just did the main quests and none of the side quests or bothered learning your companions back stories!

Never understand why people rush through game skipping the content!
Slow down, take it in, explore the possibilities.
Enjoy the game to its fullest potential!

Ive yet to meet one person who, when they took their time to enjoy game, wasnt mentally burned out by end that they needed a break before starting the replay.

LOL, I skipped all the codex entries (hurts my eyes to read on TV screen) and first play through was 67 hours.
Im at the Landsmeet for 2nd play through (found a bunch of missed content and added the DLC stuff) and at 50 hours already!

This game should take you 60-90 hours based on the majority of posts (and how much codex reading you do as there 10+ hours there alone! LOL, first time through of course). Less then that and you only robbing yourself of the experience.

The game *should* take you exactly as long as you want it to last, be it 2 hours or 15 days. None has a right to tell anyone else how to play and what to do with their game.

But then none should play the game 3 hours and then come to forum complain its too short either.

Errr.....you don't *play* the game in 34 hours. You watch a couple of the cinematics, skip through everything and know nothing about the game in 34 hours.

So what? Its your game and you can do damn well what pleases you with it, even if its only watching cinematics.

I dont understand why some people feel such urge to push their ways on everyone else *shrug*

Lel, I've played through twice. One took 26 hours and the other was 25. Of course, I was focusing on the main story with but a couple side quests in there. And both were on easy. On this next character, however, I was hoping to slow it down a bit and conquer some more territory.
