Got the armor via the WK dlc.  Allister is wearing it.  Went to Mages Tower and entered the Sloth Demon fade sequence.  When I got to Allister, I noticed he was naked and the armor is no where to be found.  Anyone know how I can get it back?

That's weird. Did this happen during the Fade sequence?

Perhaps he'll get it back when you've killed the Sloth Demon. If you're on pc you might be able to add the armor by using the console.

I had exactly the samed thing happen; on getting Alistair back in the Fade, Starfang and the Warden's Commander armour disappeared, leaving him in his underpants without a suitable weapon forthe Sloth demon battle. Warden's Keep had also disappeared when I finished the Circle, along with everything I had left in the chest ... not best pleased tbh ...

This sounds like an online activation problem. It's happened to me a couple of times - the second time last night, but I noticed it in time and loaded from a previous save. Everything was fine. The first time it happened to me, it was a while before I noticed and didn't have an old enough save to go back to. Really annoying. I make a point of checking my characters' equipment every time I load from a save now... just in case. If anything's missing, I quit the game and start again.

It is annoying. I think maybe it had to do with not fully logging in to register the DLC content before loading the save? Problem is that it didn't prompt me like it usually does that I wasn't logged in.

Couple other weird things happened. Shale became bugged. I talked to him and he was in the frozen state with his arms up just like when you first find him as a statue. Strange. Plus, the Dryden guy from the Keep DLC reappeared at my camp asking for help although the quest is showing complete.

I guess I found a coding hole!!

These kind of problems have happened before to a lot of people. Theres a few help threads on these and simular issues on these forums (with possibel solutions), just do a search and good luck.

(I got lucky when it happened to me, I just quit to the main screen, logged out, quit the game, opened the game, logged in. Did this a couple of times and eventually and all my stuff was back.)

it has happened to me in various places on various saves.

I think it has to do with the memory leak and account issues as well.

the only time it happens to me is if I have been playing for a few hours straight.

Yeah, the only thing that sucks is that I only noticed it while going through the Fade quest at the Mage tower...I was a good portion through and didn't have Allistar in my party (when you are turning into a mouse, golem, etc.). Once I found him and saw he had no armor...I thought "Oh ****". Wasn't worth me going back through the game for it. Although, I think Shale is bugged now.

(Bumping up this ancient thread.)  Bioware, this bug still exists, eight months later.  Can we please get this fixed?  I just ran into this, and lost three hours worth of play because of it.  When you are alone in the Fade and someone else in your party is wearing the armor, there is absolutely no easy way to tell if you've "lost" Warden's Keep and all of the goodies you got there until you run into that same companion in the Fade.  The only thing a person can do is to periodically check the world map to see if Warden's Keep is still there, which is not obvious nor something a person would be likely to do.  *Please* get this fixed; it is incredibly annoying.  I had to reload saved backwards in time until I found one where Warden's Keep was showing up on the map -- unfortunately, that was rather early in my Fade adventures.

(As an aside -- game validation has been slowing down in recent weeks.  It used to take a few seconds, and now I have to click "resume game" for up to a minute before it will finally agree that I do indeed have everything legitimately installed.  Nothing wrong with my DSL connection, so...)

Try playing DA off-line. By default, I don't log in to the Dragon Age servers. I also turn off all of the Online options. I find that all my DLC's remain validated. It appears that on-line validation slows down every time they have a DLC release - I guess that's when their servers are hammered the most heavily.

Just tried playing off line as you suggested. All my DLCs validated, which surprised me. For some reason I thought I had to be logged in for DLCs to work, but apparently not. I'm very impressed because I was wondering what would happen if my internet service went down for some reason. This is great because I can play right away without having to wait for the login cycle to complete and validate.

it's not only the warden commander armor it's also the blood dragon armor and other items from wardens keep dlc go missing during the fade sequence in the mage tower. Also the characters fatigue level is as if they are still wearing the equipment

I've got slightly similar problem - I've finished (again :P ) DA: Origins as a Warrior, Dual Weapon specialization and just before the end of Origins I did strip my whole party, so that I can have their gear in Awakening and then in Amgarrak... All went well during importing my character to Awakening/Amgarrak except one tiny thing - my main character lost his Warden Commander Armor Set (yeah, I know there are better armor sets, but I liked the visual of this one :P), Starfang (longsword) and Winter's Breath. And I was like, what happened? I think I'm gonna have to get those items via console unless you guys have some new ideas...

The Warden's Keep gear isn't transferable to Awakening-beyond. It, like most of the other Promotion offer gear, is not coded for it. Other then Stone Prisoner, Bergon's Bow, the Pearl and the shield, anything released before Awakening will not follow. You'll need to adjust their coding for them to make the move. There's a mod in the projects section to do so.

Can't remember the name off the top of my head, but there is a mod out that allows you to take all DLC items to Awakening. I've been using it since Awakening first came out. It's available at the nexus.
