 So I've been doing another playthough of Mass Effect 3 when I realize something.  While talking to Admiral Hackett, if you sabotage the genophage, he states that the Special Task Group was willing to help retake Earth despite the orders of the Dalatrass not to help out the Alliance, yet the STG war asset never appears so (until I save the Salarian Councilor) Major Kirrahe is the only Salarian war asset that is available.  I'm wondering if it is suppose to be a bug or if this was meant to be true since I'm wondering why would Admiral Hackett say that if its not represented in your War Assets.

I thing you are confusing Salarian help with the Salarian STG help. Sabotaging the cure will give you full Salarian support, including all their ships. See this thread for more information, or see this thread instead.

I am well aware that Sabotaging the cure will get full Salarian support. Still, Admiral Hackett said that the STG will help you out regardless but they don't show up on the War Assets.
