some guy on here said that he didn't use throw for his fury

I saw a guy today playing a Fury and never used throw once. And I see a lot of people who don't ever use Annihilation Field.

I just don't understand some people's thinking.

I saw someone do that with a Fury in one of my matches.

Had to keep on reviving them. <_<

Optimally you will want to kill things now and not 30 seconds later. If there are enemies in range of AF that have armor, shields or barriers, you need that BE or weapon to deal with them. No amount of damage caused by AF will save you unless they are in health and are organics, which panics them.

Dark Channel kills pretty well but very slowly too. With slow evolution you can leave it ticking on enemies like phantoms and brutes, making their melee sync kills less of an issue. But optimally you will want to kill all things as soon as possible, otherwise you risk cross-fire and flanking.

Throw with rank 6 damage and force evolution does pretty nice damage, especially with damage bonuses. And it's spammable. But since you didn't pick this evolution in your build, it does pretty bad damage to anything but health. Missing rank also reduces damage of your BE's.

tis why i pack a Paladin if i need to shoot.   The explosion difference between a BE set off by throw 6 and throw 5 is miniscule imho. thank goodness i have my teammates to help land some damage regardless.

I aint there doing things alone....so i might be concerned with KILLING THINGS 2 DAYS AGO if i soloed...but i dont set my characters up with soloing in mind.

foregoing passive is your cup of tea...cool beans....my build works for me....B)

Since the discussion is more on the fury , my build is 6/6/6/5/3
fitness can be overrated at times. the fury deals too much damage and can drain shields and barriers. I run it with a hurricane (AP and stability mods) Expert package (SMG damage and power recharge 10%) which gives me 190% recharge, SMG rail amp, Any ammo but disrupter and armor bonus is kina irrelevant. then i become the walking biotic bomb

Don't know if this has been mentioned but the cooldown on throw is awesome. I run a claymore on my Fury and use throw as my reload cancel I think the CD is 1.8 with the 6th evolution but I don't even think that's necessar.

I have ran that build but also enjoy running a 6/3/6/5/6 build with the finally fitness in Melee that increases power damage by 30% and I can get a heavy melee on gold about every 30 seconds or so.  My dark channel sucks but hey, dealing with armor is what the claymore is for.

My favorite part about throw is not having to worry about husks.

You may be confusing with pull, which everyone says is bad

More telling would be one person spamming throw and the the others being overpowered shooty classes. The thrower would have the low score by far.

i actually half thought about doing a all pull match but don't think its possible cause it does nothing to armor. can anyone confirm this?

I run at 6/6/6/0/6. I rarely use passive
class skills at all now. Weapons are heavier but some classes are just
so biotic/tech effective, I usually don't rely on my weapon.

66606 for Fury. CQC and throw everything. Recharge bonus on throw and gold viable.
66606 again for Asari. Only thing I care about are BEs.

I'm really coming around on this build.  The introduction of the Acolyte and ULM mod for pistols is a real game changer for biotic casters.

Droneless engineer isn't that strange.  There are two human engineers, so I have one with drone and one without.  Grenadeless demolisher however...that's just silly.  You'd literally have to choose not use a large portion of points for the build.

radius, BE 50%, and force/damage for 4,5 and 6

the BE part didn't matter for this challenge though since we were allowed to use anyhting but throw. I pretty much take radius for almost everything. crowd control is underrated by alot of players

Interesting - more people seem to be opting for radius (at least on throw, anyway). I will have to try that next build.

Always go radius. Beyond just hitting extra enemies, you will often get hits where you would have missed everything.

While working out a Fury sniper build I ended up forgoing Dark channel and using throw instead for it's much superior stagger.
Throw is just vanilla. It's the best kind of Vanilla though, with chocolate chips sprinkled on it.

No one in their right mind would think throw sucks.
