You dont make money selling to a small consumer base. DAII was dead a month after it was released. There wasn't enough interest in it after the major part of the fanbase blasted it for what it was. And no amount of DLCs would have saved DAII. It would have cost Bioware money to continue producing DLCs that only a very tiny fraction of consumers was going to buy.
There was no more sale potential for DAII after the pre-orders. Heck. DAII only managed to sell 1 million copies because of the pre-orders which were all based on expectations from the first game. It wasn't going to survive on post release sales.
You don't make DLCs for a game that the majority of consumers had already thrown aside for better games.
Was Mark of The Assassin the last DLC for DA2?
