Sure, I could drop out of the game right them and there. Thats wasted probably the amount of time it would have taken for people to join my own match. But maybe you aren't sure where you are and what level you've been dropped into, so you play a bit, do pretty well-make a bunch of kills/assists, etc... only to find the next wave immediately surround you with more bosses than your character is prepared for. Sure, I could still drop out, but I've just earned a bunch of XP and credits to make it that far, not to mention the time I spent. Now I stay, only to be a burden on the other players (although to be fair, they'll get credit for reviving me so much). I eke by to the end, spending more medigel and missiles than I wanted, but getting a nice boost in XP and credits.
But the point is that this shouldn't have happened at all. I wanted to go into a Bronze match to easiily (i.e. stress free) bump my character up from level 1 to somewhere in the teens before I even attempt to bring them into Silver or higher... and with the proper weapons!
If I do a quickmatch search for P/U/U/B thats what I expect to get. If there is nowhere on Earth with an open slot, then instead of dumping me into a random "other", simply make me the host of a new match. I can't imagine that the game was intentionally designed for matchmaking to work the way it does, so fix it please. It makes the game feel even more broken on top of all the other glitches and bugs plagueing MP. K thanx.
