First off, we already have a TON of human weapons. Fact. We simply don't need any more new ones.

Secondly, some races have given us more than enough weapons. Namely the Geth, Turians, Krogan and Quarians.

Now that leaves us with only one Salarian weapon and two Asari and Batarian weapons each.

Also, the Batarian guns are supposed to be used at either very long or very short range. The Kishock has a massive charge time and the Raider can't hit the broad side of a reaper. There needs to be some sort of Batarian pistol or AR that's a good mid-range all-around weapon.

As far as the Asari go... the Acolyte and Disciple are both good at what they do. They both have a learning curve but they're both decent. There still needs to be some sort of SMG, AR, or SR. Any will do.

And that leaves the Salarians. ONE GUN. That's it. Am I supposed to believe that the STG base their entire strategy on planting grenades everywhere with the Scorpion? Seriously. Anything that isn't a pistol will work. Just my two cents.
