Excellent list of effects and good on you for not listening to the people who needed a crutch for G/P.

Assuming that you did not have plans to reduce the new slashes, I will be working on something soon for those.

What in god's name makes you think it's gonna be that bad? More than likely it will be a slight damage nerf.


The Krysae received a 40% DPS nerf, so it is possible I suppose.  Pretty hilarious though that some people assume that it will be the case.

Really, why can't you buff the weapons, classes, and powers that suck, instead of nerfing the weapons that are actually good?

And I don't mean the token, useless, mini-buffs that you have been applying.

Yes. This is all the fault of the people whinning for nerfs. When making balance changes Eric goes over the forums looking at threads about weapons and than when he finds enough title that ask for a gun to be nerfed he just does that. They don't actually look at their feedback, they don't actually test it themselves and/or have it tested, they don't actually take all the whine with a pinch of salt.

mmmh, and the values are all correct? How can the reegar one clip atlas shields on gold (23k) doing only 132 damage per bullet against shields? (2904 damage total)

To me seems something like 2000%, not 200%.

It has some burst fire thing going on according to the Coalesced (5 rounds per burst). I think some of the test have shown that it's likely that this burst does actually happen (without actually costing extra rounds).

I am now asking myself -- Why does BW believe that playing ME3 should be like a job and not like a game? They reduce things that are fun, as they make you grind ridiculously for the low low chance that you might get something that is more fun. Then, when they realize that people find it fun ... they reduce that too.

Bioware, this game is not my job, despite what you seem to think. Stop removing fun things.

Piranha nerf doesn't affect me since I prefer the GPS on my shotgunning characters. It would still be nice to see a few underutilized characters get some good buffs in the near future. Almost all the newer characters that came out have made some of the older characters kind of underpowered or redundant.

When used with classes other than the N7 Destroyer, the gun itself breaks.

On the Destroyer, it seems to be working normally, but the multiplier for protection is 50% of what it was before (was 50%, now 25%).

On other classes (at least the Turian Sentinel), it's totally broken, with armor damage not working right and no bonus against any protection being applied.

Maintaining the balance ie. the challenge level of the game. It's either nerfing some weapons or buffing enemies since there really aren't other options. Which one do you prefer?
