 ...am I the only one that thinks that the GI is the problem? Every time there's a new "OP" weapon, it seems that the GI is the class that causes it to happen. :huh:

Maintaining the balance ie. the challenge level of the game. It's either nerfing some weapons or buffing enemies since there really aren't other options. Which one do you prefer?

And a train wreck it is.  How does the balance team keep their jobs?  Do they have incriminating photos of someone?  For the love of God...

I'm OK with the damage reduction. As close as my kroguard will be to the enemy with the piranha, the damage reduction won't matter much. I always prefer extended barrel over smart choke.

Good list indeed. Turns out the talon has a multiplier against barriers and shields. I wish I had known sooner.<_<

Not surprised at the piranha nerf... but why cant you guys buff any of the crappy weapons that noone uses. Locust could have its damage literally doubled and the fire rate increased and it would not be OP, Eagle could have its recoil reduced and firerate increased, katana could have spread reduced and a 25% damage increase, scimitar could use a damage boost, drell still need the barrier buff, krogan could use a better stun resistance. why all the nerfs with no buffs. I usually dont mind the nerfs as long as there are buffs to balance them out

Piranha nerf ? Nice one, guys. I'll wait for the values, but my guess is that my Turian Soldier will go back to oblivion.

How about a rollback on TC or a Shieldgate bypass for the Javelin plus a buff on all sniper rifles ?

The GPS is heavier and far less powerful overall.  What do you think?

It's funny We must nerf the piranha and typhoon because everyone's using them and that means they're OP.

But... barely anyone uses the acolyte pistol. Do you see an acolyte pistol buff? Because I haven't seen any ****ing acolyte buff.

EA (and BioWare, by extension) embraced the microtransaction model of gaming. Needless to say, this is a normal consequence of using the microtransaction model.  Traditional PC gaming is pretty much dead by this point barring a few professional developers (and some independent developers) thanks to microtransactions.

It ceratinly exacerbates it.  But really, the Piranha is overpowered on it's own.  So when the two are combined it just gets stupid.

That is a reasonable enough approach. Really the only thing that itches me th wrong way is the quite frankly wretched way of buffing a weapon massively and then nerfing it again. It eludes the grasp of my understanding.

Which solves nothing or is even remotely related to the matter. And actually has been causing lately quite a bit of the woes related to the balance. So it's not a solution. Even if it were you are still facing the two options, to maintain the level of challenge either something gets nerfed or enemies buffed.

While the GI is pretty OP, the Prianha is actually pretty OP now. I've seen every single class using it, to great effect.
