And that Piranha damage will be balanced on the scaling, leaving it usable even if you don't have to weapon at freaking X.

I... don't think that's right. Right now a piranha does a little bit more than 3 times as much damage as a scimitar. A 25% reduction would make it about 2.25 times. So it'd be like dual wielding scimitars (plus a bit.)
umm no i just played a scimitar match and piranha match on gold back to back. the only things piranha would have over a scimitar if the nerf would be that bad, would be the amount of ammo you can carry and slightly faster fire rate. As where the scimitar would be more accurate and light weight.even with the choke mod, the spread on piranha is double or more that of scimitars, so you can also start popping those shots earlier with scimitar:? all in all, i think if the end damage nerf is 10% or more, as a talent oriented class your better off using a scimitar or GPS, but it would still be better for the soldier... but i wouldnt classify it as a rare anymore, as you would kill things at about same pace as you kill things with scimitar, And i seriously hope it is not the case.

I don't have the patience to wade through 26 pages of "omg piranha nerf! now it will only be 20% more powerful than the harrier instead of 50%!!!" posts to see if anyone else has mentioned this, but I remember someone posting a video earlier showing that it's impossible to kill a turret on platinum with a widow due to the shield regen delay being shorter than the widow reload time. Looks like the devs were paying attention, a good sign.

Damn they Nerf everything good... whats the point of getting UR then its pointless i use the piranha on my destroyer and i only play Gold/Plat.. and on Gold it takes a whole clip to take ppl out... does that really need a Nerf now playing bronze or silver it might seem OP but not in the Higher Difficulties

It has a 50% higher ROF and 100% more damage per shot right now. A 10% damage nerf would mean a 50% higher ROF and 80% more damage per shot. Against an atlas, prime, brute, or ravager you're not going to be missing with either weapon, and dealing 2.7 times as much damage is a noticeable advantage.
