In NWN2 I can not make a screenshot. I know you press print screen but nothing happens. Any ideas? I have the final patch and all expansions.

The screenshots are in your my docs/neverwinter nights 2 directory. Unless you've remapped your printscreen button. My keyboard has a function override button that lets me use alternate options for those types of keys.

I looked there first and nothing. For some reason I can't make screenshots. I tried nwn1 and it worked fine.

In the game menu, under options, keymapping, misc, it lists the key assigned to printscreen. Have you checked that to see if you've accidentally remapped it? How about if you use a program like fraps, or if you have the Steam install of nwn2, the steam screenshot (mapped to F12 I think).

I checked and it is the print screen button. It does nothing. My install is from nwn complete. Could that be the problem? Screenshots do work with nwn. Also there is no folder for screenshots in the documents section of nwn2.

I tried making the folder screenshots and still nothing. I wonder what is wrong.

There's no seperate folder, screenshots go in the root of the my docs\\nwn2 folder.

I wasn't sure if there was a seperate folder. No screenshots anywhere.

I use shift-printscreen to get screen shots.

If the screen shot is successful, then you should get a message saying so showing up in yellow text on the screen (unless you've hidden the player interfaces by hitting the H key). If you unhide the interfaces quickly enough after taking the screen shot, you can still get a glimpse of the yellow confirmation text.

An alternative is to use alt-printscreen, then switch to a graphics program and paste from the clipboard.

DannJ Thank you! I used shift-printscreen and it worked. I just wish I had learned this 2 weeks ago. At least I now can make screen shots again.
