Hey, guys.  Normally, I'm pretty good at finding help for bugs on my own, but I am completely stumped about this one.  Been playing the game on and off since 2009 without any major issues, but I recently just started a replay (after about a year of inactivity) and I got a glitch in the Korcari Wilds.

Everything was fine in my game until the game transitioned to the Korcari Wilds.  Then, my character started "sinking" underneath hills and higher points on the the landscape, like this:

Trying to walk up hills produced this effect:

Have no idea what this could even be?  I've played the game countless times with my same set-up and this never happened.  I have Dragon Age: Origins (patched to 1.05) and a Nvidia video card GeForce GT 520 (drivers completely up to date).  I removed all of my mods, did a complete uninstall, a fresh install and patched *and* it still happened in a completely vanilla game.

Can anyone help??

ETA: Fixed it.  After troubleshooting for pretty much everything else, I determined the problem was my install of DirectX 11.  It was broken, somehow.  I re-installed WIndows 7 (which basically uninstalled the broken DirectX 11 and reinstalled a fresh, working version).  I then installed the DirectX 9.0c Endtime package from my Dragon Age cd on top of the already installed Directx 11.  I reinstalled Dragon Age, then patched up to 1.05.  Not sure if such an elaborate solution was needed, but it fixed the problem while nothing else worked!
