yes ive heard they cant insta kill you if your in range with AF active and hit them with DC but i didnt know atlases bypassed this. maybe thats why they kept instagibing me? yeah come to think of it when i do this to a phantom they forget they have a sword lol. and if you do this to one and get close to a phantom when your pals are being instagibed you save themRokayt wrote...
DC also does enough damage to save you from instagibs (That are not atlas instagibs.)
Making it impossibly valuable to the ordinary Fury.
N7 Fury builds 6/3/6/5/6 or 6/6/6/5/3?

go to the link i put in the origional post(the first link) and it explains why you shouldnt shun DC. but only use DC on higher difficulties if you are good enough. no one likes dyeing and waiting to be picked up. i didnt say you do this but be sure your teamates dont carry you. be a blessing not a burdin-words of a wise woman-my mother ^^Daihannya wrote...
I run 66644, but always with stronghold package V, and doing fine on platinum. With adrenaline rush 3, I think you can get away with a 66653 build. I don't know why folks shun DC. It keeps working even after a detonation. I always find it funny that I would DC something like a banshee, and as I run around using AF to take out the trash it kills the banshee.

6/6/6/0/6, passive is overrated. It's all about the BE's and staying alive to do them.
Passive grants you power damage bonuses to take even more advantage of the Fury's ridiculous DoTs, as well as cooldowns. 66653 is the best build. Skimping on DC just (Roky's build) is just not a good idea, you need maxed BEs.
I run 6/6/6/0/6 as well--and for the same reasons. I just don't find that the powers are in place long enough for the DoT to be much of a factor, as I detonate them as soon as I am able, re-cast, and move on.
I play her with an extremely mobile hit-and-run style, but I can see the point of maximizing the DoT if you're going to spend more time in cover or on the other side of a wall from a target instead.

The extra power damage only effects your DOTs, which only (slightly) helps on the boss enemies.
I want to kill my enemies now, not 10 seconds from now. BE's are 95% of where her damage lies.

I just tested this build.
I improved my silver solo time by 10 minutes.
I am a terrible solo-ist.
But this is still a major improvement over any of the other builds.

what about ammo powers? i like the armor piercing mod grade 2
I agree with you about Armor Piercing Ammo. I pretty much always use AP Ammo because extra damage to armor is always a plus, and it doesn't interfere with my biotic explosions. Occasionally I use Warp Ammo (with an AP mod), but that's only if I'm out of AP Ammo.

the shields really do. but remember you dont have shields you have barriers. this means stay away from grenades. a human male soldier may take less damage from one than a human adept. just sayinY2Kevin wrote...
I want to try out the 6/6/6/0/6 build, but personally I love the 6/6/6/4/4. The 6/6/6/4/4 works just fine for me on Gold and Platinum. I do however want to try a build with Fitness evolved all the way to Rank 6 to see if those extra shields really do make a difference in Platinum.

Dark channel: only upgrade this to 3. of course you dont want pass this( your dumb if you pass this(just an opinion)) power up but on gold/plat you dont find yourself using this as often. ive had people tell me it only matters on the rank of the power for the BE damage...this is not the case.
Actually, a Dev confirmed that Biotic Exlosions are only affected by a rank of a power.

DC is the main thing I use for BEs on my Fury. DC > Throw > Boom. DC > Close in > Boom. Still alive? Detonate AF for lulz.
It really depends on the map. On glacier, Dark Channel is only used against Atlases. On bigger maps like Vancouver or London, its the primary tool for biotic explosions.

Yeah, but you can DC a spawn point, mosey overy to another area of the map, use AF + Throw to mop up mooks, and watch the kills tick in
Even on Gold, with a power amp DC on its own will clear whole spawns. It's a pretty nutty DOT power, and unlike other adepts it's not the Fury's only means of setting up BEs

Yea, that's my point. Why gimp the utility of the class? I can see a 66644 build being pretty good.

Who says 3 in DC is good?
This makes very little sense.
6/6/6/5/3... I get this
6/6/6/4/4.... I use
6/6/6/0/6.... I may try
6/3/6/5/6.... I do not understand

6/6/6/5/3... I get this< - Fair enough, Any brick placed in front of a keyboard will think of this.
6/6/6/4/4.... I use< - Basically the above. Implies more creativity however.
6/6/6/0/6.... I may try< - Utterly brilliant. Best fury I have played so far.
6/3/6/5/6.... I do not understand< - It underscores other furys due to DCs killsteal power. However, it is a very strong build for a single fury. DC is still strong enough to offer Sync kill resistance. I would call this the best tank fury of them all.
I added my opinions, I have tried them all, and this is what I think....
Do what you will.

Brutes are the most obvious case for this.
DC-> Throw -> BE -> (brute is now in Range of AF) -> Throw -> BE -> dead brute
Obviously this is situational, but I dont see the need for more passive power damage.
the 66606 I really want to try though.
I have seen melee builds work well too. Not awesome, but pretty good.

The Heavy melee a good " Screwed up " button.
It fixes your mistaken throw.
However, I find the best use fo DC is simply a "Screw this, I am leaving power"
I can kill a brute quicker charging it and BE spamming with the 6/6/6/0/6
I can also kill a brute by hitting it with DC and walking away with the 6/3/6/5/6.
So DC really shines for that last one simply because its good for ignoring fights, not for getting into the fray of them.
