My greatest fears for the Leviathan DLC......

Leviathan: Shepard, there is no way you can defeat us conventionally. However i know my kind. If there was ever a way you could merge all organic life in the galaxy with synthetic life, the reapers would cease to seek your destruction. They would become your equals. The knowledge you could learn from them would advance your races ten fold!
Garrus or other party member: hmmmmm that would have some advantages.....
Shepard: If only there was a way where that could happen. It would be a Utopia......
^ this = nightmare.

Here's some quotes from Leviathan...
"Don't do that again, not even to forge an alliance with a damned Reaper-killer."
"So the Reapers did not fully exterminate their creators. That suggests they are fallible, even on large or long-term scales."
"I don't know what's worse: killing people outright, or making them suffer like that."
"The mining colony was completely brainwashed, and the Reapers retreat the moment the artifact is destroyed?"
"I've been thinking about what we learned, Shepard. The thing is, I don't really care what the Reapers are or where they're from. They're monsters that need to be put down. That's all I need to know."
"So a Reaper goes rogue and kills one of its own. That's what we're looking at here, right?"
"From Sovereign to Leviathan... they've been a pain in the ass the whole time. But at least we're starting to see the big picture. Never really thought we'd get any answers. It doesn't change much, but it does make this war feel a whole lot bigger."
"Strange stuff back on that asteroid. We've seen indoctrination before, but ten years? Leviathan had its own private army. You've got to wonder how much longer that would have lasted if we hadn't come along."
"This Leviathan thing can just kick you out of your own head?"
"I'm glad you made it back... and I'd appreciate it if you avoided talking to Leviathan any further. I don't want any tentacled creature inside your mind... except me."
"You know, whenever we discover something amazing like that, I wonder what else might be out there... or even right under our noses."

I think with a catch phrase of "you have come too far.." I don't think he'll be proposing such ridiculous ideas.
I have thought about this too. I'm praying to the sci-fi space gods that this isn't positive foreshadowing for synthesis or control.
Mass Effect 3 was a dark sci-fi because there was love-craftian evil in it, that needed to be purged. Not because people were just too stupid to know right from wrong and it was your job to "fix" them..

I could see the conversation with Balak changing, at least.

NO U!
In all seriousness though, batarians are my favorite race in mass effect, and the most underused.

I'd say there's relatively little work after the war ends to just finish the rest of them off.
There's a reason there aren't any batarians in those epilogue slides, you know.

Mass Effect 3
“I answered this. There will be no more new endings. I used the "quotes"
as we consider the Extended Cut the ending, the finale, the stop
whatever you want to call it of the ending of Mass Effect 3. We do not
plan to make new endings, give more closure to the endings, adding or
subtracting to or from the endings, etc. We are done with the endings.”
www.examiner.com/article/mass-effect-3-leviathan-dlc-will-not-change-mass-effect-3-s-endings
if that's the truth then suffice it to say bioware simply does not care anymore and are proceeding to milk the franchise with pointless DLC's. guess that's it for me.
