Cerberus, white, and ghost. Whatever classes and weapons you could actually get out of the limited options. Never got old...also everything felt playable that was nice.

I remember thinking at the time that no weapon could surpass the Widow.

It was a simpler time.

I remember I was the envy of many when I show up to a lobby and take out the Krogan armed with the Claymore. Some people would even just sit back and watch as I would play.

Hell yeah!!! I was an Asari Adept with Carnifex (scope/barrel). Killed everyone!

It was a historic time though. Not only the ME universe introduced their MP, the NERFERS also enters the Mass Effect world. :crying:

Carnifex was OP.
Stasis was OP.
Claymore was OP.
Novaguard was OP.
Widow was OP.
Silver was hard.
Atlas Mechs were the greatest threat on the field.

In other words... a whole lot of unnecessary complaints and embarrassing assessments. Nothing has changed.

The good old days where the Human Vanguard was either the most popular class or the most kicked.

It was very fun. Everyone was a noob and was working together as a team, and with each game, we got better. Also, there weren't as many irritating elitists back then. It also had less bugs than what we have now. There's no nerfs and buffs. Everything is as it should be.

Novaguards everywhere. Made my Salarian Infiltrator useless for sniping. It also seemed to take about two weeks before the average team could reliably beat bronze. I was so excited to unlock the Revenant I, then I just went back to my Mattock anyways.

Atlases were terrifying. It wasn't unusual to see 4 rockets launched at the first one in a match. And three of them missed... I remember the first time I soloed an Atlas. It was the last enemy left, and my teammates were all dead. It was so exciting. I mean - an Atlas!!! those things are practically unkillable, and I took it down by myself!!!! One of the teammates had a mic, and he wouldn't stop talking about it in the lobby for the next few games.

Getting a Revenant 1 made you a badass, Silver was nigh impossible, You missiled an Atlas as soon as you saw it, FQE was the class to have and only idiots went to the room on FBW.

That still happens on bronze, even if it's at three armour points and you're about to kill it. <_<

What was it like during the "Demo days?" Unfortunately I didn't know ME3 even had multiplayer until I saw it on the main menu screen.
Someone told me it felt different back then. I remember reading you could only fight Cerberus.

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to type out some cool stories you might have to tell from them. Thanks in advance.

It was great fun. You were grateful having an Avenger III for your Human character. Atlases required the whole team or a missile to bring them down and a single Phantom frequently wiped out the whole team on wave 8. Winning a Bronze match felt really great back then. The coolest character to have was the Asari Adept whose stasis powers was the one thing that could keep Phantoms at bay.

You'd get 2 or 3 people disabling each 1-2-3-4 objective, as we hadn't worked out that didn't make it go faster, or were getting them confused with a hack.

I remember Cobra-ing the first Atlas of a Bronze match, getting scoffed at by my teammates, and thinking "heh, don't worry guize, I've still got two left!".

Ok only wondered because you are a pretty active forum member.

ps: Why did you block me :crying:.

I am also blocked by theillusiveman11 :crying:.  I figured it was something to do with general profile settings the Cerberus network firewall, or something - can't recall saying anything especially offensive!

The fields of Noveria were still wild and barren. Nothing but untamed land as far as the eye could see...

This vid is from the demo:

WTF Is... : Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer ?

It's quite funny to see him get excited about receiving a single medigel in a Recruit Pack, and then get fully roflstomped on Silver.  (He has the highest N7 rating in that particular squad ... N7: 6.)

Of course, how can I forget that!?

The first solo was with Human Vanguard with Phalanx V, it took 81 minutes for me that first time.
The build was the same I use know, full damage skiping shockwave.
