Powers, ESPECIALLY biotics, were a lot more powerful than guns. Everyone like to make Atlases walking bombs, AA's dominated the battlefield for their immense boss-killing abilities.

Getting that carnifex 1 was such a feeling of elation- such a good weapon.

Got drell vanguard in the first pack, used it to no end, feeling like such a boss because I could yoink guardian shields to bail out all the krogan soldiers and sentinels. Beating silver felt like an accomplishment. Game's still fun, but nothing compares to that first game as drellguard with my carnifex.

My widow. I was the envy of every lobby. And I once was a NovaGuard on Gold, with a friend and 2 people from England. And we actually made extraction. They tuaght me the proper use of Shockwave and how to use my NovaGuarding to save us from Phantoms. Back then, TC for the infiltrators actually worked. You could dry-hump a Phantom all wave and she wouldn't even bother you. Instead she'd snipe your friendly neighborhood Krogan Soldier.

I don't see any Novaguards anymore. Which is a shame, he used to be my favorite Vanguard. Until I unlocked my  Smash Bro.
I think the art of Novaguarding is lost forever. Nowadays it's all about Biotic Slash spam.

I still play him. Though it would be nice if the charge glitch was fixed, though.
Anyways: Me and my friends always said "BIG ****** THREAT DETECTED" every time we saw an atlas and shot a missle at him. Good times.

I remember kicking a 12 year old kid in the lobby post-campaign because he spent the entire game going "do you have a mic????" Repeatedly even though no one answered. He was then humming a song. I was hoping that only the demo didn't have a mute option

Maybe it was mean of me to kick the poor kid.

 I miss them. It was a time where the game wasn't changed every week, people played for fun rather than credits and epeen. Sure it was only two maps and Cerberus, but it did what it was meant to do: made people excited about the MP.

I remember how good it felt to finally get my first non-human character, SE, and how cool it felt to spam enemies without getting hated on(cause you HAD to) and my first rare, GPS. Ah the old days...

AR: Avenger, Mattock, Revenant.
Snipers: Mantis, Viper, Widow.
Pistol: Predator, Phanlax, Cranifex.
Shotgun: Katana, Scimitar, Claymore.
SMGs: Shuriken, Hornet, Tempest.

Those were all the weapons you could possibly obtain during the demo, atleast thats all I remember. There may be one or two others.

My friends and I would missile an Atlas whenever we saw it, and Phantoms if there were 2 or more of em. Silver was tough, gold was impossibru! I was raping with my Mantis on the female Human infiltrator but then I got my first Widow and DESTROYED ALL THE THINGS =D and it was a good time.

Also my friend unlocked an Asari adept and I was pretty jelly.. but he was jelly of my Widow II.

Ah, those were the days... looking at a veteran pack and thinking "I'll never afford that! I have to get more recruit packs to get more medigel..."

And the smugness of unlocking a Salarian Infiltrator, to the great envy of my friend who had been swaggering about with his shiny Widow and really just wanted the SI. Fleeeem the Infiltrator, now I've deleted the demo I hope you're in a better place. R.I.P.

Two maps, over and over again. I unlocked the Asari Adept early on, but wasn't able to unlock the Krogan the whole run. SO when I unlocked Krogan Sentinel after the game's release, I don't think I played another character for a week.

Bronze was a challenge within itself, people actually communicated and called out threats, Phantoms were the bane of your existence, and doing Gold was unthinkable.
All in all, it was great fun.
