The qunari were way too easy to kill, and way too many. The qunari should be rock hard warriors, few in number, but hard to kill. In DA2 they were more like a swarm of rats. It also makes no sense that a race that is supposed to have the best technology in Thedas fight with no armor and throw spears. I hope this changes in DA3

I enjoyed Dragon Age Origins a lot.
I love RPG's and I love Mages.
I'm generally very easy to please.
Will Dragon Age II Rise to Power let me down?

Well, it`s a matter of taste. I was personally a bit disappointed with DA2, far inferior to origins. It all feels a bit rushed and I don`t like the new "action-comic- style".
BUT, i still enjoyed it! It has some great highlights, but it`s not as good as origins!

I don't use Rush. Is the topic about how Rush is useful? I liked the music though.
I don't know what the point the uploader was trying to make but I'm using the video to describe Dragon Age 2 in a nutshell about how most of it was combat with rediculously over the top kills with exploding bodies. The best part in that video is when several Qunari just drop down and disassemble into body parts as the result of an ability the player used.
The music is Guile's Theme and it's a scientifically proved fact that it goes with everything as proved below.
(LOTR)
(Obama Walk)
(Creepy Cricket Fan + KFC Guy)

The only explaination I can think of for their lack of equipment is it was lost when the ship sunk and they are too proud or there is something in their code stoping them from reaching out to local blacksmiths and armorers to make them new equipment.
Though part of me doubts qunari are truly as advanced as they want us to believe, since in 300 years they have yet to figure out how to build basic cannons or hand cannons.

While I certainly don't agree, that was pretty darn hilarious.

Good point! But i thought they did have cannons?? Isn`t that why mages were so important in the war against them, to counter their long range ability?

I can only conclude that you played an entirely different game to the one I experienced, or there's some forum competition going to see who can tell the most egregious lie.

A lot of Dragon Age 2 had you fighting. Running around the city at night time? You would end up fighting armies of bandits. Running around the sewers or caves? You'd end up fighting armies of bandits, undead or spiders. Running around the Wounded Coast? Then you'd be fighting armies of Qunari. Combine that with the continuous waves of ninjas and combat grew old fast.
No, fighting wasn't all that there was to Dragon Age 2 but there was a great deal of it in comparison to Dragon Age: Origins which was balanced and had more diversity.
